New domain competing

Hello All,

I am trying to evaluate the difficulty better before trying to compete or when trying to estimate the amount of work that I will have to put into ranking first for a certain KW.

what would be the first things you will look into before deciding if to compete or not?

how would evaluate this moz analysis by effort and time for a new domain to compete:

Page Authority: 29 /5.51
134 links /12 root domain

Domain Authority: 23 / 4.51
6994 links /34 root domains

both are good.. what about the names themselves? .. brandable or descriptive one word names?

its KW+ <Location> if you meant to the domain name, its brand<keyword>.co.uk

Your trying to rank for kw + location? A new domain will always be hard but i see loads of dropped domains all the time like that, i can look for you if you want?

Also ranking in bing and yahoo is easier and can be done in 7 days about...

Yup, love ranking on Bing. I think Yahoo just follows 99% of their results, so you rank for one of them, you rank for both.
