My First Instagram Journey - (Newbie)

3,572 followers. I created a Fiverr account and I am going to start with some shoutouts there.

Fiverr sucks for selling shoutouts mate.

Oh well. Already created the gig no use in deleting it now. What else should I do though?

I get submissions daily at this point via email and DM. I suppose I'll just reply with my rates.

Keep us updated manas soon as you have the rates revealed to the public! Still curious 'bout your niche though :)

Hit 4.1k today. One of my posts hit 1k likes. Pretty excited

4.3k we're getting closer

Good luck on your journey. I've recently used followliker to boost up to 6000 followers but have not begun marketing. Hoping to hit 20k before doing anything.

Search for the thread by ruler2020 called "My Journey to 1 Million Instagram Followers"

I would post the link but I can't yet since I'm still relatively new.

Thanks for the response. I've seen the thread but it's a bit harder than explained. Most people don't want to do shoutout for shoutout because my page is small (5200 followers). I've approached a few people. What else can be done?

Thanks again

Take the time to read the whole thread. The focus of the thread is how to grow an Instagram account, not really how to monetize it. I'm using all of his methods to grow my account.

**UPDATE**

4.8k now. 2 posts of mine have reached 1k likes

5k now. I experimented with Crowdfire so I could unfollow people faster...but in just 2 days I saw my engagement fall. I stopped using it and won't be using it again.

It is faster to unfollow manually than using crowdfire because of its unfollow limit. The good thing about it is that you can unfollow people that don't follow you back.

5.3k. 3 posts have hit 1k+ likes

looks promising! good luck on your journey. ill be following this

***Update***

6.4K followers. Several posts have over 1k likes. I've done 2 Fiverr orders for people. I got a request to hold an advertising campaign from a company related to my niche. I discussed prices with them.

I rebooted account number 2. I had a new idea for a niche that was still related to the old niche. I'll see how it goes.

My goal now is to start making $100 a week. I will try out a shoutout rate of $50 per 10k followers and I will offer package deals for 3 posts and 6 posts. Someone else in my niche uses this system. I might have to alter it but for now we'll see.

**Update**

7.2k followers. Things are starting to get real!

I joined niche.co , pretty much a site for social media profiles to display their stats to potential advertisers. I've been using it to monitor my engagements and growth. Right now I'm averaging 748 engagements per post. Many of my posts fly above 1k, nearing 2k.

Account 2 now has 400 followers. The tweak I made is making growth a bit easier and smoother.

In terms of the follow/unfollow method, a trick I've been trying is following people that like a very recent popular post in my niche (Uploaded within the hour or so). It has helped me gain followers at a faster rate because these people are recently active and are likely to come across my page more quickly.

Good luck with your journey. What you can also try is like and/or comment on a post for the new follow you make, it raises the follow back even more ;)

Its interesting that one account is growing so much faster, are you following the same ammount of people every day? Are you getting shoutouts from big users on the first account or something? How many people do you follow / follow daily?
