Greetings community,
I'm reading on BHW for about one year and I already experimented a lot. The most attempts were unsuccessful. The only more or less successful project (three digits over a half year) was a ClickBank product I was marketing on a WordPress website I made. It was all passive income so it's okay.
The last days I spent a lot of time here and currently I'm evaluating what I'm going to do to finally get a nice passive income. I'm a programmer and I do a lot with WordPress. After reading some journeys about the Amazon Affiliate Program, I thought I might give it a try. I have about three hours a day for this secondary business. I've read a lot but I still have some questions about it. Maybe some of you guys can help me out here.
1. I saw two different kinds of hosting a website with Amazon products containing ref links. The first one is the classical one I think - It's a niche based ecom website. The second attempt was a shop that is not based on specific niches. For example you regulary check a lot of Facebook pages and if there is a post about a specific product you need to hurry and create a new product in relation to this Facebook post on your website and leave your link in a comment.
I guess one or more niche based websites are easier for beginners, right?
2. Should I place the ref link right into a product? Or should I use the cart and redirect it to Amazon the moment the customer checks out? I just want to benifit from the ref bonus.
3. Generating targeted traffic is a lot of work and I know that you guys won't share your secrets. But are there any general hints that you can share? I want to do On-Page-SEo and I want to spread (but not spam) the product links (not the ref links) on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram etc in specific groups every day. Do you have any suggestions?
4. I want to order about 10 proxies and create accounts on different social media sites like Facebook. When I spread a product link inside a comment I want to like/upvote it with the other 9 accounts to get some attention. Do you think this is a good idea? Again: I don't want to post the ref link and I don't want to use any kind of cloaking or redirection at all.
5. I don't want to write articles or reviews - I would rather set up shop-like website. Is this going to be a problem regarding my application to the Amazon Program? Do they want to see full content articles? Or do they simply accept shops?
6. I haven't found it in the Amazon Affiliation ToS: Am I allowed to put AdSense or any kind of other ads on my shop?
I guess these are enough questions for now. I hope you can help me with the one or other question. I'm targeting a passive income of about $50 a day. I think this goal is reachable. This time I want to put more effort in it and force myself to stay strong after a failure and not cry like a little boy.
Thank you guys in advance. I appreciate all the informations shared on here.
Best Regards
