Any Good Web Design Courses Out There?

Hey guys! I'll just start out with saying that I'm pretty noob with web design, internet marketing, etc.. My eventual goal is to have some good, monetized whitehat sites. But for now, I want to get some blackhat sites up and running so that I can get some money flowing in.

Herein lies the problem: I have almost no knowledge on web design/coding. The only experience I've had is copy and pasting code to customize my Myspace page 10 years ago lol. I have a general gist of how it all works, I know some lingo, but that's about it.

Are there any good online courses I can take to help get me started towards my goal? I've seen some like Treehouse, W3Schools, Lynda, etc.. Has anyone used these or any like them? Do you have anything else to suggest?

Since you mention blackhat sites up and running instantly, get some beautiful mobile responsive WP themes and start promoting it.

But if you really want to learn, you can always start with any video tutorials from Udemy or Lynda (search this forum for some free courses shared by other members)

As mentioned above, you don't really need to do any courses for now. Get a Wordpress site and a simple theme up, and just play around with it. There are a ton of videos and guides online if you need help with this, for example:

You can start with Wordpress if you're looking for a quick solution, but if you actually want to learn to create your own websites then start with tutorials on either codeacademy or Youtube (thenewboston is very good for all programming). You're best to start with HTML, then CSS, then if you like move on to Javascript. Once you finish those, you'll know which direction you want to go next.

Hey mate,

I taught myself everything I know website wise from home. I'd definitely recommend starting off with learning how to build a Wordpress website (there's some great tutorials on Youtube). Also to point you in a great direction when it comes to themes, have a look at Themeforest, and check out a lot of the top sellers, you'll see quite a lot of themes you really like.

After getting Wordpress down, I can't stress how much having learnt html/css/php helps me everyday with my work. So I'd head over to code academy for that if your going to take it a step further, and do some of the easy courses there.

You can have a nice website set up in a day from now!

I do not know about the courses specifically but yes you can always go for tutorials. They help quiet a lot. Hope you will get some ideas from there. All the best.

Web designing depends on the programming of HTML and PHP.
You must have to learn these languages to design a website easily.
You can use Wordpress guide for start.

Well after doing a lot more looking around, i think I'll go with the quicker solution for now. I've been looking into traffic arbitrage. Any knowledge on that?

Learn Bootstrap. It doesn't take that much time and within an hour you can create an amazing website, responsive with just html.

Haha - starting out with MySpace. Those were the days. It was great for HTML learning, but beyond that kind of dull.

I would suggest you go for Udemy Victor Bastos web development from scratch course or try any Team Tree House course on this area. I have reviewed both courses and I found it would be quite useful for newbie. Though I am a newbie in BHW forum but I am a Web Dev for more than 8 years now. So I am speaking from experiences and expertise.
