C'mon toml3030 this is the third time i have asked you this! when my paypal thats attached to my ebay account gets a transaction put throught it at $6,500 to $7,000 from a purchase how will my paypal account handle a transaction that big on an account that is not new or old? the account currently does not have any of the 21 day holds.

As you already know the account has been selling 4 months now , has over $750 sales, with 112 transactions the account has not had any opened cases against it. the account has been a perfect little angel and even had its selling limits raised to 10,000/1000 selling limits

I would be shocked if you were asked to provide your SSN or TAX ID from PayPal in January in fact I have never been asked for it in the month of January on any of my accounts ever because all of your sales reset January 1st.

What toml3030 has said is true though you can get your accounts paused and asked for SSN or TAX ID even when having two thousand dollars in sales because its based on projections from selling to many items in the span of a couple of months and going near or over 200 Items/$20,000 Dollars.

As far as your PayPal account receiving $6,500 to $7,000 from one transaction PayPal can put holds on irregularities even when your way past 21 day holds from funds that are inconsistent with prior transaction amounts. It would be unlikely that PayPal would limit your account since you have a seasoned account but it is possible.

Dude, it's not a question anyone can give a "if you do X, Y will happen" answer. I already told you what the possible outcome will be. If you're that worried about getting a 1099 from paypal, DON'T DO IT.

That's not what I said dude. I said there was a CHANCE that you would be asked to provide an SSN or TAX ID so if you absolutely must avoid tax implications don't do it. Dealing with Paypal is not an exact science. Often you can not give "Do X, and Y will happen" type of answers because you never know when your account will be that 1% of the transaction that gets looked over by reps that will get it sent for risk assessment.

So if you want to bet your paypal account that they won't hit you with an SSN request after you put through a $7K transaction in January, because they think you're on pace to hit $20K this year, be my guest.

And btw, I already told you before in the thread I already got hit with a TAX ID request for 2016 for an account that I had less than $2k in sales in 2015 so January requests for tax id does happen.

Well, that's the $64K question, isn't it? It's my view that unless you are in the top 5% of dropshippeers, as in you need to put in time. effort and maybe investment to be in the top 5%, drop shipping is not a big money maker for long term business. I have seen the ecommerce business through both ends and way too many times have I seen the drop shipper get squashed for reasons outside their control.

on ebay three main factors are in order of importance, your account strength, your pictures, and your titles. Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars for a really strong top rated seller account, there is no substitute for pounding away for a long time at it.

Zero, since it would violate eBay policy on listing animals and food. If that cow is alive, live animals are not allowed. If your cow is dead, it's not allowed because any meat sold must not contain organs and must be packaged.

for 440kg package, the cheapest way would be probably truck shipping if you're within US and shipping by container if you are shipping outside US. I would guess about $2K and up. It actually may be cheaper to ship something to China or Europe than to ship it within US.

I have a old ebay account im looking to sell. It is 6 years old and has over 700 positive feedback and 24 neurtal feedback plus 1 negative feedback.

To be honest, I wouldn't buy the account because 25 neutral/negs on 700 feedbacks is pretty bad. Even if the account can be saved at this point, it's only a $10K limit account that will not likely get limit increases for a year or two if ever.

Quick question, looking at other sellers, I noticed you will get different sales info from the items that are currently for sale vs completed sales or sold listings. Can you shed some light on that?

Yes, this is a MUST, because exif data will link accounts together. I suppose you can just use a separate camera for each account, but when you're running 20-30 accounts at a time, that is impractical.

Hi Tom. Im a complete newbie here for all this. I got banned from selling on ebay a year ago permanently, and as they told me theres nothing i can do about it. so what i'd like to know about stealth accounts is:
1) They need like you said, everything on another name, so how do you access the money? so ebay accounts and paypal are on whatever name, right? and you have all of this in different addres, phone, ip so they dont track it to banned accounts. but what about the money? the bank accounts are on your real name? if so, theres no problem between paypal and the bank sending money to an account with different name than the paypal?
2) you said you used tethered phones or something like that to access your accounts? is this a specialty phone or something? or is just a regular phone with internet access (non-wifi) that you use to access each account? how do you manage to do everything from just a phone? or you use vpns?
3) can i do a few accounts with the same address? because im planning to use them just to sell, since i'll keep my old suspended one just to buy, coz thats all i can do anyway with it, I could use my buddy's address to set up the account, so like i said, can i do a few on the same address? or I would get red flagged? i'm not planning to go crazy or that big anyway, at least to start, i just wanna create a decent few stealth accounts and just make sure i do them right and not get suspended again.
4) in one of the stealth accounts, say they ask for a ssn at some point? is there any way to work around this? or what do you do when this happens? im talking about simple regular accounts just to start, so these wouldnt be a LLC, so im guessing you just set whatever name for ebay and paypal right? i've seen a bunch of places offering scanned documents on whatever name and stuff but what about SSN? coz if you want a SSN scanned docuement from this comapnies that do that kinda job, they ask you for a number? OK so here's my dilemma: I'm dropshipping from amazon to ebay. I'm trying to figure out a way of safely using amazon photos on my ebay account without getting into trouble with Ebay. I'm thinking of just slightly cropping or resizing each photo (reducing height by about 10 pixels) and removing all exif data and then uploading it to my ebay item. However, I'm also thinking about adding a watermark to each photo to make it even more unique. I was thinking of watermarking it with my own ebay seller account name. I don't know if this is a good idea tho. Could it or would it get me into trouble with Ebay? Would you recommend watermarking with my own account's name or just some random image (I don't know what this image would be tho!). What do you think?

your banking records does not have to match paypal data, since the bank will not give any of your personal info to paypal

you can use most smartphones as a hotspot for internet connection, and if you have a big carrier in a big city you will get random login from thousands of IP #'s.

no, everything must be different on every account

You don't have to give an SSN in most cases if you have a EID on file. And the entity you get an EID under does not have to match your paypal or eBay info. And DO NOT give fake SSN, as that can lead to felony legal trouble.

generally they're good, but you can't really trust that they've created them using shortcut methods that will get your account in trouble down the road. The biggest problem may be that it works in the beginning, but won't get any limit increases down the line. Among the regulars that post here I have bought from fox20c and I have received limit increases to $100K+ so I know accounts are good.
