Thank you for your reply but isn't it better to open a thread for your own software instead of sharing the link under my thread ? To test against G n B by the way, is a regular way and it limits you to use the proxies for a specific mission. plus, you may use auto-save function to save, you don't have to wait 14000+ proxies to check.. plus your program gather proxies from blackhatworld's proxy page , and not from latest post, which is a waste of time, because you ll grab all dead proxies too. instead of testing dead proxies with 3000 thread, i think it's better to use actual/latest proxy list with 99 thread. as you can see from your screenshot, you just tested 545 proxies and only one passed. if you try this with ProxySpirit, you ll get the result immediately. so i'm sorry but i don't see any benefit checking dead proxies with 3000 thread. also you thread function is important too, did you check ProxySpirit how much CPU & RAM uses..almost nothing. so my last word is, maximum thread number of a software doesn't mean that it has no good points or benefits. you need to know behind the software to understand how it works and how it's good. and also you forgot to put your virustotal link too.. but i hope you edit your reply and open a thread for your program..
Dude, I will make this easy for you. You want opinions of your software as long as you agree with them. That is not the way of the world and Fuck You very much.
The particular proxy scraper I put up with the source code I have put up several other times. I have no need to start a thread for it. If you want to whine about no virus total, the reason that there is no VT is because you have the source code. Because you can recompile the program at will, you have no need for a VT and a VT would be useless in this case.
You want to brag about your software, don't. Your software is the same as Proxy Goblin but has fewer threads and a different interface. After I shut your program down, I unpacked the obfuscater in less than five minutes and looked at the source code. It is written in Visual Basic. From there I made a determination to offer you an engine that is intended to operate very fast that was likewise written in .net. The source has now been taken down.
Unless you live in some third world garbage can and are using a computer from greater than ten years ago, you have no need to worry about resource consumption. The exception would be if you used greedy algorithms.
So being blunt, you have a starting project that is in need of work. It is not something I would keep.
Next time I will not offer you help, nor an opinion. Your comment about where the proxies are gathered from is also off base. In the instance where I draw from a particular url, it goes to the last page of that url on BlackHatWorld, but even this is unnecessary because one of those BHW urls is the RSS feed. If you would have bothered to look at the urls, you would have seen that.
But I am not worried because I already know that of the 351 proxy urls in what I offered, you will use them minus the 71 that are dead or inconsistent.
When you complain that only 545 potential proxies were tested, perhaps you should stop and ask what else I was running. Let me see 50 threads of GSA ProxyScraper, 800 threads of the port scanner in the GSA Proxy Scanner, 200 threads of ScrapeBox, 50 threads of GScraper, and 200 threads of GSA SER, and 200 threads of GSA SEO Indexer. Then I ran 3000 threads on top of that. So figure it out.
