Do you think that it's really important to stick into just one field when doing freelancing work on fiverr? If I offer services in different fields, will that do more bad than good?

I offer video related services and I'm thinking about expanding my business to other areas. My profile name has "studio" in it. As a buyer, would you buy, for an example, SEO services from a seller who also offers video related services?

(My profile is a level 2 profile btw)

Thanks in Advance :)

I have gigs in different categories and I don't have any issues, I always get orders.

It very rarely would hinder you.

The diversity in your service offering would only add, however a more specific service would further boost.

All gigs rank better when you have more than 1 ranked, provide great responses and have volume of sales.

i have been running multiple services without any issue

Sometimes you can add services / products if they are comparable to your main focus / range, so an office supply company can sell printed items, packaging products etc as they have a natural synogy. You'd not expect your local motor mechanic to start additionally selling fresh fish and offering nail vanity services, as an example.

Here in the UK, we have a retail chain of chemist ( pharmacy ) shops called Boots. They used to be called Boots The Chemists, but they expanded into all different products, so they decided to drop the ' The Chemists ' part of their name.

They are still a chemist, but sell small electricals, perfumes, diets etc etc and are now branded as Boots.
