i got a infrigment warning email,so i decided to run hotspot shield elite,my question is the torrent will not start downloading while the program is on,but if i start the torrent downloading then run my proxy program while its downloading will i still get protection from downloading?

the torrent downloading doesn't start, because p2p is either not supported at all with hotspotshield or just not on that server and if you connect to a different server, it may work
if you start downloading without the VPN enabled, you are not protected, your ISP will see exactly what you're doing, but if you start the VPN when the torrent is already downloading, your internet connection will disconnect and then connect to the VPN giving you a new ip and protection, but your torrent download will stop
if you want to download torrents behind a VPN, you need one which supports p2p
big torrent sites like piratebay, iptorrents have their very own VPN services, maybe try those or just a VPN where p2p is enabled

yes that is what i seem to do i start the torrent then i connect my hotspot shield then it will download is that still safe.
also when i download a torrent i delete all the trackers in the advanced tab in the bittorrent program is that nessary to do.

deleting the trackers is practically cheating if you download from a tracker where ratio counts (so mostly private trackers), because if the trackers are deleted, the torrent client won't be able to report the downloaded/uploaded data to the tracker, some private trackers might even penalize you for this, i was booted from torrentleech at least 2 or 3 times because of this lol
but it doesn't matter from your point of view, it won't protect you more than if you'd leave the trackers intact, you can only delete the tracker after the peers joined in, otherwise the download won't start, so that's after you already started the downloading
not sure what country you reside in, but there are some ISPs which block torrent traffic or trackers to the extent that you won't even be able to download the little .torrent file, so you may want to start your VPN when downloading the .torrent file itself (or use the magnet link, if there's any), not just when you start the downloading
just use a VPN preferably which doesn't keep logs and support p2p, so if shit hits the fan, there will be nothing on you

well, if you can't start the download when hotspotshield is active, it's because it doesn't support p2p, however if you start downloading and you enable hotspotshield just after that and the torrent still keeps downloading, i think it's only because the torrent client doesn't run through hotspotshield in that case, so you aren't protected at all
some VPNs (especially the free ones like hotspotshield) work like that only those programs run through them which were started when the VPN was already connected

I use uTorrent. But if we talk about movies there are some automatic software platforms like Popcorn Time where you choose the movie from catalogue and when you choose the movie after 1min you watch the movie, depending of your internet speed.

well, i personally don't use any VPN service, because i have no need, but what i posted above, the torrentfreak link contains many, those must be a safe bet, if they were published there, just make sure that what you're getting supports p2p and preferably keep no logs
