Pending Follow Requests

I apologize if this has been discussed in a thread before, but it seems to be an arising issue and I wanted to get opinions from the Experts on here. One of my IG accounts is getting maxed out at around 4k in terms of how many people I can follow, I am assuming it is 100% due to Pending Follow Requests. It's seriously the most insane thing ever that there is no way (that I know of at least) to find out who your pending follower requests are! I checked out the Crowdfire forums and this issue seems to be the most requested feature to be added, so hopefully it happens.

I also know FollowLiker has a feature to only follow public profiles, but FL seems to be having issues lately and gets people blocked quite often and I've decided just to stay away from it on IG and only use it for Twitter. Anyways, below are my questions if anyone can help out.

1. If I only follow public accounts, and just immediately unfollow the ones that say Requested, will I pull up extra IG flags for rapid following/unfollowing? I do everything manually.

2. Can anyone predict this being fixed anytime in the near future?

3. Can anyone CONFIRM if these Pending Requests ever time out and how long if so?

That's one way to do it but just remember to count that as an action that's all. So say you were doing 1000 follows a day safely..maybe have your limit at 700 that way you have the 300 buffer to work with for any immediate unfollows

1. Yes it will raise flags for follow / unfollow too fast, since it counts as an action.
2. What's there to fix? IG has made it like that for a reason.
3. I'm fairly confident it does disappear overtime based on my experiences, ~30 days? Exact days is unknown, but they do disappear after some time.

Hmm interesting that you are confident the request go away with time.

I have a personal account which I am keeping private and also keeping all the requests (for testing purposes). Some requests are already there for over 2 months and they're still there to approve. I don't know how those numbers behave on the person who followed me, but since I'm still seeing the request I'd say that it wasn't deleted yet.

I've had the same issue as well, I've waited a couple (like 3) of days and it seems a little better but they could just be me

Alright, now I'm super confused. I have been canceling all the pending requests I possibly can find, and when I follow I always immediately cancel my pending requests. Yet, my number of people I can follow is STILL drastically decreasing. Can anyone shed some light on this?!
