Hey guys i've heard so many horror stories about the former GWMT that i'm really uncomfortable to add my site on it. What's your personal experience, penalized accounts for no reason or sort of?

It depends on your site. Pbn's that's up for debate. On one side it's a free resource to help you. But on the other your shooting goog 100% of your info on top of what it can scrape normally with bots. You can use other tools and resources. http://piwik.org/ is an alternative.

For me it is quite a useful tool actually. However it depends on the site you are adding. If your site is a low quality one less content and spammy backlinks, better not to add it to SC. otherwise it is quite OK in my opinion
