What kind of website will I be getting with this packet? How many pages? Would I have to build hundreds/thousands of links to get a decent ranking in Google? The description is very vague.

Can I see some samples with real web statistics showing that these websites can actually pull in visitors.

Mini review. 3 days and have been given a choice of .org or .net EMD on a niche which is a brand (not sure about the copyright/trademark issues here, but I've chosen to proceed). CPC $1.25, monthly volume 1900. The niche looks usable and is certainly not something that I would have found, so from the perspective the service has performed. The EMD term has high competition from e-commerce sites, first 9 results are all DA70+ .. there are plenty of long tail keywords with monthly searches of 40+ .. the site is now under construction, I'll feed back once complete. I'll be buying 15-20 articles for the long-tail stuff and then a simple diversified basic backlink profile. Budget is ~$100 for that work. If I can be arsed I'll do a mini journey, see if it's possible to make a microniche site pay back $150 with all work outsourced. Cheers.
