Competitor CMS Access !! How to benefit ?

Hi all,

For some irrelevant reason I have in my possession the wp-admin access info from one of my 10 base competitors website. No7 from high to low competitor.
Is there any way to take advantage of his site to benefit long term Rankings but he never notice it ?

Just delete and advise them to secure their sites better. Don't go after temporary gains.

As others have stated I wouldn't advise it really. In most places this would be considered hacking which is definitely illegal and you could wind up in legal troubles.

If you are in an area that wouldn't give a shit about this type of illegal activity it is likely that you will get found out and the police would be the last of your concerns.

TL;DR Delete the info

Even without hacking involved, it would be illegal modify anything. Good decision, like Tony said, stuff like this is a boomerang...it comes back and hits hard the moment you don't expect it.

I think you will find that gaining access to a website when it is not permitted is a grey area at best and any half decent lawyer would be able to argue fairly convincingly that you hacked into their website.

In this situation you will not be dealing with computer literate people here, you will be dealing with people that barely understand how to get their emails opened so when a lawyer argues that you hacked their website with the vague writing of those laws you may as well have been sat in a dungeon like basement typing green code on a black screen hacking the mainframe like some dodgy 90s hacking film.

If you do not have authorisation to access his site then you are committing a criminal offence (certainly in the UK and US) it doesn't matter how you came across his login info.
