I'm going to make this short and precise, today I just got accepted into the Reflict network on youtube. I had copyrighted material on my channel but I deleted it and had only 1 video that was truly original and from me, so now I got the partnership. My question is how strict are MCNs? Can I upload copyrighted content that only end up getting notices? Or will the network ban me even if i get copyright notices?
Thanks for your time.

Most probably they will kick you if you receive a valid copyright strike because there is this new rule for MCN that if X amount of channels are suspended in X amount of month they will lose the ability to add/partner new channels. This rule was imposed because of those people who upload copyrighted content like Movies & TV Episodes in a manner of 1:1......1:3 channel to video ratio. Before QuizGroup MCN was the biggest blackhat-friendly network, but now they are in deep shit with Google.

My advice is since you can create original content why not go to that route and add some blackhat stuff to rank your videos instead of uploading copyrighted content in which you did not create?

The problem is my channel is NBA oriented, so I'm really limited with the types of videos I can make. I can't make NBA mixes and such, but I can make Top X Players That Did X which have already been done. Still thanks for your reply Imma take this into perspective

you seem to know 1 or 2 things about it... is do you think its possible to be in a network with " movies and tv stuff" if your channel gets only 1 strike but stays alive.. or do the networks now check the reasons for this strike and also the channel ? because i still see people uploading this kind of stuff on youtube

NP. In case you are interested for more NBA ideas look for Chris Smoove. He have a successful NBA oriented channel with a little mix of AAA games.

Nope. They won't risk it regardless of your channel size. If you are under MCN and you receive a copyright strike they will know the full details about it (who the claimant is, the reason for takedown, what type of content you posted etc.) because it will be recorded on their CMS.

Yes, some people are still posting this kind of stuff but did you notice that it was being auto-flagged even if you follow the ToS and Community Guidelines? I believe Spam404 did suggested this algorithm to YouTube. TV Episodes/Movies that are still up on YouTube are either claimed by trademark/patent copyright owner, music company or soon-to-be banned Google AdSense.

Got this from 4 different popular TV Show Episodes that are still live on the first-page of YouTube.
