Like using an emulator or something?

I've been trying to get it to work now for a while but not having any luck.

The reason I want it for PC is because I want to figure out a way of using an existing picture as a story (instead of a new one)

Yes, you can use it with bluestack !!

Or they are some apps of snapchats you can upload your picture for marketing purpose !

Download Bluestacks or any other Android PC Emulator and install Snapchat.
Easy.

you can try andyroid too, i prefer it over bluestacks

If you download the official app you can make a new account. When you logout from it you cannot login again.
Also you cannot login with an existing sna-apchat account. They blocked us from doing that on one of their update. I think they can detect that ur not using a phone and that's why it doesn't work.

I'am using Virtual Box and Android 4.4 installed on it, working perfect and you have full control superuser permissions for other stuffs :)

Use bluestacks and wait for few days, after snapchat will also come like Whatsapp web.

Yeah I am surprised nobody is aware of that. Bluestacks does not work at all for logging in to existing accounts. I heard also that Snapchat will not work with rooted devices, which is probably another reason it does not work on emulators, because they are all rooted from what I understand.

So I guess that only way to do this is to make a new account. That's ok. I heard something recently about creating the new account and then going in and copying the auth token (or something like that), then adding it into a specific spot in the snapchat installation location on the device to make it work.

Yeah, same thing with snapprefs. You can't login if youre device is already rooted. You need to login before you root your phone, then install xposed, and just never logout.

You can't use it on PC with any Android emulator out there. Snapchat detects if the device you're running it on has a built in camera in it. And none of the emulators allow you to use the camera. Plus they detect immediately if you're running it on and emulator on a real phone.

It might be possible, but only with a custom software.

For now the options are:

1) You can use the Casper application with any of the Android emulators.

2) Install Mobizen and controll your Android device if you wanna use the Snapchat application.

I think that can be done with Android Emulators. Search for it. I'm sure that you'll find some useful resources on line pretty easily.
