Hey, everyone. Pretty new to the SEO game. I recently paid for an SEO service and I've seen a lot of new backlinks to my website, but like 90% of them are nofollow links. This doesn't seem right. Could someone explain please?

You've certainly purchased shit. Was it Fiverr? These so-called "services" are everywhere even at pricepoints of $5,000 per month. Lmao at how the providers actually refer to what they do as a "service".

some nofollow links are good to diversify your link profile. A lot of authority sites, directories etc. give nofollow links.
However, from what you write you certainly purchased crap. Dont do that.
Get informed and do it yourself. After you understand at least a bit how it works you can still outsource link building.

A healthy % of no follow links are fine. Judging by what you got - it doesn't sound natural or healthy at all.

What type of service did you bought?

I purchases sarkark21's 007 PBN. It's very popular and I figured I couldn't go wrong with it. It's only been a couple days since I bought it and he said it would take 2-3 weeks. I'm noticing the vast majority of links are m.pinboard.in which are all NoFollow links from what my app is telling me (using SEO Backlinks tool for android).

I still use fanpage, nofollow for backlinks. This index google with good grades.
But many people say only good ******** backlinks. It's your choice

That's not really nofollow, it counts towards social metrics even though the web interface link doesn't pass anything

If your back links are from authoritative domains then it is good to have nofollow links. It will not harm or penalize your domain in return. Check the authority and spam score of link domains.

No Follow links help you increase your web traffic only and it makes your website look natural but 90% of no follow in your site may be a sign of spammy links.
