I'd say a few days! Normally if you don't get accepted they will deny you instead of ignoring you!

Been well over a week now. My profiles are pretty high quality(Self made content + followers grown over 2 years) and so was my proposal. A few of my friends haven't heard back either. :\

hmm, how many followers do you have? From what I've seen - youtube is the easiest to get accepted, and instagram is probably second however I would say having 50k + increases your chances.
I applied for 10 on my 10k pet niche account and I didn't get accepted. So maybe try to apply for around 25+ and don't set your price too high.

I've got 70k followers and just heard back from a company after posting for a few days. My initial proposal was 100$, they then counter-offered me with 50$. I took it seeing as they weren't too strict on the sales and promised a further partnership if they saw good results.

Thanks Rachel! Yes you are right, you do get in most cases the chance to review the product. In my specific case, they offered it to me, but i declined as I do not do reviews, but just feature them on my instagram account.
I got contacted by another company who offered to pay me 100$ for promoting their product. However, they wanted to strike a deal where I would only get paid once I was credited for 150 sales of that specific product. I honestly think that's a steal so I simply declined the offer.

Hmm yeah, maybe you could ask for like 10% commision on every product you sell or something!
Some companies will simply ignore you. I find that if you edit the request, once you've done that, they'll likely accept or decline it instead of just ignoring you.

I think once they accept your offer you can sort out how many posts/how long the posts are etc
