I don't want to step on anyone's toes here but I think I can asnwer this one. I should first state that I'm not a big fan of Google Analytics, I like StatCounter personally. But anyways, the 2 work the same way, you need to install a link within the page you want tracked. The link can't pick up every hit coming in, both 3rd party providers. I personally think the best way to track traffic to your site is the stats provided within your hosting account. This way you can track every page on your site, not just where the link code is installed. Not sure if this helps!

Even if you only had the code on your index page, it should still be counted as hit. :/

"IF one ip visits twice does this count as 1 visitor or 2 visitors?"
Answer:
It would count as 2, but that very rarely happens. This is redirected traffic and is coming from around the world. So at times it will happen when a person or ip address will visit their site more than once. They could retype the domain name that redirected them again, which means they'll be redirected back to their site. Our system rotates campaigns to stop that from happening, but again, at times it will happen.

"The traffic comes slow and steady, just as it should - not blasting in at hundreds every minute!"
Now, this is good because, it's real people looking at your page!! When you buy traffic and it flys in like a Florida Hurricane, it's most likely a bot, and no one is looking at it!
