Yep exactly, here is a good reminder (hope to see more comments like this)

I took my time and i mentioned few time in the thread above that you will have to learn how Reddit works before you think of doing some serious promoting. Make sure that you read all the rules of each every every subreddit that you are planning to post in, also it is a good way to just stay on the subreddit for few days and see what kind of things get upvoted and what people like and what kind of thinks get downvoted and what people there hate!​

Can you please explain to me what kind of question is this?
This is a method that everyone is using it on Reddit, and it is the Reddit method, dieordigg is the one who thought me this and he mentioned some things that i forgot but than i edited my self (does this really matter).

ALSO WHY COULDN'T YOU KEEP THINGS IN ONE THREAD?

And I'm sorry for this i just waned to see if people are interested enough so i could take the time to write it down, i was not planing on losing 4h writing this stuff down if no one gave a shit :)

What are we supposed to post? I must have completly missed that part or I'm blind, either one. I already have a well built reddit account so I guess that's already a step completed, now like I said I missed the part "how to get things to go viral" Because if I just post a video/article or whatever I can guarantee you I wont get it to go viral, again sorry if it is stated in the guide however I just cannot find the answer.

Cnan you explain on what you mean by this?

If you mean, if you need to post any videos in the article that you will be promoting on Reddit than, it doesn't really matter, you will need to make the text have the best quality and if you add a video below that it will just be better because that way they might stay more to your website and watch the video as well, but yes this depends on what kind of post you will make...

It's ok dude its a good question and i appreciated you are being polite! even tho i mention it and

it is not up to me to tell you what you need to post and what kind of posts you need to make (i mentioned that the most viral things are news articles, interesting videos, and pictures) So if you already have good account than that means you know a thing or two about Reddit, well next time you are on some subreddit see what is on the top and what kind of article/post is that, form there you will understand what works on Reddit... All is about understanding Reddit...​

Reddit is a very good source of traffic. This will definitely help a lot of newbies..
 
Honestly man, at least for me, you did a tremendous job with this post. I am about to launch my product on kickstarter and one of the acquisition channels we are thinking about is reddit. This is going to help me a lot. I don't think saying thank you is enough but seriously, thank you so much for all the info you shared. I would love to talk to you and your friend about how can we take advantage of the whole reddit platform to get some traction.
