Why many bank online services offer a debit mastercard as your main card even if most of the companies/marketplace does not accept it as payment option?

i don't reckon if i'd ever have any problem with my Payoneer card anywhere, can it be online or offline, i have one since 2008 and that's a prepaid debit MasterCard

doesn't it help, if you link the debit MasterCard to your PayPal account and try to use the card via PayPal?

plus i guess not every debit card is the same and it matters which bank issues it

I often used Visa and Mastercard debit cards for car rentals, marketplaces etc. Never run in to a problem.

You can use a debitcard through Paypal I can imagine, as Paypal are just a prossessing merchant.

you can surely do that online, but you can't do that offline obviously , not sure if OP was talking about online only or no
also there are places that don't accept PayPal, but accept credit card payments

Never had a problem with my Payoneer Master card locally or internationally (online)

I am using a payoneer debit mastercard, and i until now i didn't have any problems with online and offline payments. Also, you can link it with you paypal and all in all it is a great card to use. As i know a maestro debit can't be used for online payments and some other stuff are you sure that you have a mastercard? Also, if it is from another payment system or some unknown bank maybe you can have some problems, but as i know all mastercards can be used to shop online offline and withdraw money from any ATM in the world.

Never had problem with payoneer, the best thing that he added Euro and Gbp mastercard
