How to Get Even With PayPal?

So I have been doing affiliate marketing for a while. I wasnt doing very well so quit in October. But I had $537.30 as a balance owed to me by the marketing network from my leads. I kept emailing my network for my payout, they kept telling me they'd do it that week and never did. Finally 2 months later I got my payout from them last week, they sent it to me via paypal.

But then the next week I got an email from paypal saying "Payment Reversed". The network filed a false dispute that it was an "unauthorized transaction" and they got their money back immediately. Because it's considered a "Service" on paypal and not a "good", they can pull their money back out of people's fricken paypal accounts!! I contacted paypal and they are refusing to do anything saying they cant help per policy. So I now lost $537.30. I dont care if paypal wants to reimburse these guys, but sure hell dont take it from me, Paypal should be taking the loss or let me respond to the dispute.

So I dont know what to do now, Im out $537 (I spent much more than that in advertising just to get that from leads). I know a lot of people have spoof or fake paypal accounts out there, Ive never done it or know what I could do. But anyone have ideas? Perhaps I could buy $537 worth of stuff with a fake paypal account, like as a debt/credit and ever actually pay for it? I dont know, I want to find some way to make up my loss for this. Im pissed that PayPal does this, never knew about such a thing, will never accept money as a " "service" again.

By the way, I have an idea.... PayPal says your protected for something you didnt purchase, if someone gets into your account. I could open a new account, make some legitimate transactions, then buy something expensive overseas ($500 Laptop), and claim my account was hacked. They will have to reimburse huh?

You're Protected If:

1. You were charged for something you didn't purchase.
This may mean someone has used your PayPal account without your knowledge or approval. Report it within 60 days and PayPal will investigate. You will be covered by our $0 Liability for Eligible Unauthorized Transactions program.

It's not PayPal fault, it's the network fault. They issued a payment and then filed "unathorized chargeback" or whatever with PayPal. Of course PayPal will pull money from your account, because that's where the money went. Any bank or merchant will do that. Email PayPal and forward any proof from the network that the network owned you money.

It's hard to go up against PayPal. It's not worth it OP. Because in the end, we need PayPal more than they need us. Sad but true.

Yep, its called "chargeback" a lot of people do this and its basically a way to scam paypal for 500 bucks just make sure it gets shipped to another address than your home and whoever recieves it (your buddy) to not sign the delivery and you're golden

Simple, don't use Paypal.

If you live in the UK, your best bet is contacting the Onbudsman, They have helped me before with PayPal, but your chances are slim to say the least.

That sucks however I always won the dispute in most cases. If I buy a couple of things on my PayPal and decide a couple days/weeks later that I want my money back, I just charge back for a full refund and I always receive a full refund within a couple of days. It's not that hard to convince PayPal to help you, just reach out to them and hopefully they will reside to take your side.

Seems like your network screwed you, not paypal. This is like asking how to get even with the bank after the bank reverses your deposit because the check is fake.

I did forwarded our email exchanges, and called paypal, they wont help me. They keep pointing to the 11.3 Eligibility Requirements.

...Yeah but since the money was already transferred, paypal should just freeze the money and notify me about the dispute and not just jack money out of my account because someone claimed it was unauthorized. It should just be frozen until investigated, you know?

Yes the network is crooked, but PayPal is the one that allowed them to screw me. I had my money I was owed, and paypal enabled them to take it back.
This wasn't a fake check, it wasn't an unauthorized transaction, their account was not hacked, they willingly sent me the money themselves, then made a BS claim. So I should be able to dispute their claim first.

But yeah guys, I agree with all of you. Its the network that ripped me off, but they wont respond to me, nothing I can do with them. I sent proof of my emails to PayPal, called Paypal, emailed them, escalated my case as high as I could; Not only will they not listen... I can't even open a dispute or claim. There's like literally zero sh*ts given by them over this.

I just felt that PayPal should FREEZE the money and open it like a normal dispute, and let me respond first, before just jacking the money out. It's like if a police officer watched and let someone rob my house, Im going to be just as mad at the Officer as the house robber, right?

But It's a good learning lesson through the hard way, that the small technicalities make a big difference in PayPal; Service vs Product, or CC vs existing balance, etc...

Well paypal limit my account today with 90k inside it.

My biz is down. For 48hr.

Plus they treat me like a shit.

Asking will review and unlimit it back.

And today i call they said maybe next week because tomorrow is holiday.

They dont care about my money, my business and shit.

I'm pretty sure you are exactly correct, from what I know what you are describing is a big problem on eBay and one of the reasons people will not sell unique/rare items to someone with low feedback count. Not sure how it works in regards to PayPal reimbursing the seller, but buyer definitely can get his money back each and every time as long as every item is not "as described".

P.S. I have never done anything like this (chargeback scam), but I did sell on eBay for a bit, and I have heard countless people mention it. Sometimes they will even open the box, repackage it, mark "not as described", ship it back for the refund, and when you get it, there is a pen inside or something (instead of your brand new iPhone 6), so now the seller has to prove that you scammed him, which is, of course, next to impossible.

follow Paypal, you upset them i promise
you be ban from nearly every online bankining service you find.
paypal are very powerful that a warning.

If your a bonefied user and legal business and

wow thats insane right there. I dont think thats possible anymore, how are they funding the purchase? eventually they get banned and there isnt a way to fund the large purchases since it appears entropay doesnt work anymore.
