Monetizing 1.3m FB fans

Hi

I have a verified Facebook page of a popular 80's TV show with 1.3m fans. Organically adds around 5k fans per week and garners a post reach of between 2 - 4m weekly depending on post volume ( usually 5-7 p/w). So, all in all, performs pretty well with not much work.

In terms of monetization, its a mixed bag. I've pretty much-exhausted amazon affiliate at this stage as its literally buying DVD box set and that's been the only thing that stuck. The audience is a little older and so T-shirts don't really work in the same way they might with newer shows. Next step I've been thinking is building out a simple fan web page with AdSense and driving traffic to it from the main page via show trivia, memes that kind of thing - i.e. show question posted on facebook, find out the answer on the web page - that kind of thing. Was going to use Weebly as seems like Tumbler doesn't allow adsense anymore?

Anyone have any thoughts, comments or idea of how much this could earn?

Load up a website related to your page with articles, videos, images and send traffic to your site.
Create competitions every now and then, eg: box set raffle, complete email form to enter, in order to collect email addresses of your viewers (for future use)

Expect approx $2-4 per 1 thousand views when monetized with adsense, although January month is usually slow

adsense is the best for this traffic,and 1 only pop up pays good. 3-4 CPM for US/UK traffic

It sounds like you aren't able to correctly identify what triggers your audience to buy. Spend some time snooping around on their profiles, web searches, etc. You will need this in order to be able to sell them to products more effectively and efficiently. Once you get their mind and emotions down to a science on paper, work in testing and see if your results match your theories. I can't express how they will react, but if you were doing something right it wouldn't be this dire or lackluster of profits from your end, now would it?

Not max...I'd consider that as a minimum. It also depends on the countries the traffic is coming from and how well the site is optimized.

Thanks - what would you recommend as the best site builder type service to use with Adsense? Can't use it on Tumbler anymore which would have been perfect. Weebly looks pretty good

The main question is that a gray or blue badge sitting next to the page name?
Because blue badge pages are gonna receive a lot more reach (and traffic ofc) then the pages with gray badge.

Btw, I'd go for a private fan page with a simple wordpress theme - don't waste your time to providers like weebly - it takes about a minute to build up a basic site on WP.
