Hi guys,

New here... I am trying to install a table plugin and I thought its as simple as uploading the rar file on wordpress but it looks like its not. I've also tried extracting it and changing it to a zip file then uploading it and it does not work as well. There is no instruction on how to install the file nor can I find information online how to install a nulled plugin. Any help?

I am planning to buy the plugin once I start earning. I am still a newbie and this is my first website so I am still a bit hesitant on purchasing.

A compressed zip file works when uploading it on the wordpress upload a plugin section tab.

If it was in a rar file then you probably need to unrar it on your desktop. Inside you should find the zip file then upload that to WP.

There is no zip file inside it. Just a lot of folders and some text files.

I've check it for virus and stuff and I've gotten it off from wplocker btw... also I've tried to download it from a different site and the same thing happens.

What is the name of the plugin?
Have you updated WP to the latest version?
What theme are you using?
Are you running any other plugins?

Its a css3 responsive table plugin. Yes I've updated it to the latest. I think it really has something to do with the file rather than the theme though since I can see text files inside the folder on how to install. I think its written by the original creator. It said that I need to just upload the zip file but there is no zip file anywhere. It only has contents of the plugin.

Maybe it would work if I put the contents in a zip file??

Well you could try zipping the contents of the rar but not sure why they would have provided it as a rar in the first place.
If you post the exact name of the plugin or the download page then maybe somebody can give you more details.
Is it the code canyon one?

Also check the download section, there maybe something you can use as an alternative.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE PLUGIN IS SAFE CARRY OUT YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE WHEN TESTING

Now you should have a .rar file named csspricetables10-0.rar

1. Unrar it.
2. Open the folder and you will find another folder called csspricetables10-0
3. Open that folder and you will find a folder called css3_web_pricing_tables_grids
4. Right Click add to archive/Zip up the folder called css3_web_pricing_tables_grids
5. Upload the new Zip file named css3_web_pricing_tables_grids.zip

Thank you very much! It did work that way.

I cant believe this board is very very helpful.

I would be very careful about putting cracked software on a site that's making money. I've had a few instances where they have passed hash check and virustotal but then get a warning email from trafficplanet about an infected file. They threatened to cancel my account if it wasn't gone in 24 hours, which was just as lucky because I would have been away. If you can afford I would just buy the plugins if you know they'll be useful for you.

Yeah, what I thought from xplosiv. Does anyone on here really used nulled scripts and themes successfully on here?

I too am in a similar position and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have downloaded a nulled version of GeneratePress Premium, which includes a load of plugins. The original file was a rar, which I extracted. Within the extracted file are a bunch of premium addon folders.

As an example, one of the folders is called 'generate-menu-plus'. Within this are two folders, called 'functions' and 'languages' and a PHP file called 'generate-menu-plus'. There are no zip files within these.

I am also a newbie and I have WordPress installed on a local WAMP server. If I am happy with the results, I will buy the full version as the last thing I want are any pop-ups or anything else not wanted, when the site goes live.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

The one posted by Asif helped me. You have to unrar then put the necessary files in a zip file.
I think Wordpress doesnt really read rar files.

I had a read through the solution posted by Asif earlier, but I have no idea which files need to be placed inside the zip file.

From what I could tell, the one to zip is usually the folder just after you unrar it. Usually the one before it turns into a bunch of files, this could however be a case to case basis. Sometimes its a matter of analyzing and doing trial and error if it ends up working and uploading successfully into wordpress.

If I am not mistaken, you downloaded a file that has both the theme and plugin inside. This could be the reason why there are a bunch of folders when you unrar it, because there's the folder for the theme and a bunch of folders for the plugins. What I might do is just zip those folders individually each for the theme and each for different set of plugins.

You could drop me a pm of the link. I am by no means an expert but I'll see what I can do.

Thank you, through trial and error, I eventually found another zip file buried within the original download, and this did the trick. Thanks for your help, very much appreciated.
