Okay so I made this account in 2009. At the time I made it I used my real name and uploaded some pictures of myself, etc. Over the years I started posting like random pictures of cars for my profile pics. I posted a pic of Bert from Sesame street as my profile pic at one point. I also used Kermit the Frog. Yeah I know I'm weird. LOL I changed my name many times while on FaceBook and never had any problems. Well TBH when I first got my FB in 09 I had changed my name a lot for giggles. I was Wayne Brady for a long time and got a lot of friend requests. LOL I also played around and used other names like Lakeisha Cooper. I'd change back to my real name every now and then but for the most part I used fake names for fun. For many years FB held me to the first 5 names I used including my real one. I basically couldn't change it to any other name besides ones I previously used for years. Then last year in like January or February I saw I could change my name again and changed it to "Suq Madiq". Everyone, well all my IRL friends from college, high school, and the like, knew who I was. I put a car pic as my profile pic. I put that I lived in Eugene, Oregon and was attending Oregon University from 1905-2025. I live in Louisiana. I used to have my info saying I lived in Louisiana but I changed it to many funny places like Intercourse, Penn and Ii, Greenland or Finland or whatever it is over the years. I put it as Eugene, Oregon cause I'm a huge Oregon football fan and acted like I attended the University of Oregon. You can see from the dates that I was obviously lying. I also changed my birth date from my real birth date 06/17/1991 to 06/17/1905. Pretty much cause I could. LOL
Anyways someone reported me for using a fake name and now FaceBook disabled my account right before the new year and wants ID proof that my name is Suq Madiq. I'm in a bad situation here to say the least. I was able to amass 3,800+ friends over the years and really built my account up. I have tons of IRL friends I made over the years from college and the like that I won't be able to get back. I have over 2,000 photos on the account but the last photo I posted of myself was in 2011. The rest are a bunch of photos people tagged me in, memes I posted, or cool looking cover photos I wanted to put up. You'd have to dig real deep to find my actual photos.
Anyways I want to know what to do? I thought about photoshopping a fake Oregon ID and using a picture of a really old guy (since I am 110 years old according to my FB birthdate LOL) and putting my name as Suq Madiq on it, but since I have no photos of a 110 year old man on my FB account IDK if they would buy that. On top of that I doubt they'd believe there is a 110 year old person named Suq Madiq living in Oregon because that sounds absurd. I also thought of making a fake Oregon ID with my actual picture and my actual birth date with my name as Suq Madiq on it. IDK if they would trip about me lying about being 110 years old or not. Then I thought of just sending them a picture of my actual Louisiana Driver's licence with my real information and apologize for changing my name to a fake name and putting up a fake birth date. I honestly didn't know that it was that much of an issue. Back when I made this account I didn't even have to link a phone number to it let alone provide an ID. I don't know if FaceBook would accept my apology and give me my account back. If they want to change my info back to the real stuff IDC I just want my account back really. IDK if I should lie and use a fake ID or tell them the truth. What do you guys think would be the best course of action for me to take? I really want my account back. If there is any possible way for me to get it I want to know.
