Sry dude, I had no clue people might ask for samples, u know... I was just seeking advice...

And I write on health, self-improvement etc. I guess I should adhere to Zander152's advice and try writing on different niches.

tnx 4 taking your time into commenting here, so sry I couldn't provide any samples.

One other option is to send query messages to the following list of "big game" writing sources that pay $39, 50 or 100 per article. Harder to get approved, obviously, but a MUCH better payday and bigger bragging rights if you do:

Love you man, grateful for your resourceful post.

I started out as a freelancer writer when back in highschool some three and a half years ago. I had no clue where to find clients, how to market myself or anything else about business for that matter.

But I knew how to write.

I started out with Elance, Freelancer.com and Fiverr (none of which I use anymore really, though Elance is now Upwork and I sometimes gothere just to see if anything interesting is on offer) and just applied to every single job that paid and promoted my Fiverr gigs.

After I slaved for some months on low salary I just got tired of it, and decided to get paid what I was worth to the client with my writing.

I didn't get many clients after that, but the few regulars who kept coming back for more and more content proved it was the right call to make.

And now I've had a BST here for some time which was probably the single best investment when ROI is considered that I've ever made (writing wise that is).

My advice is to contact companies, bloggers and anyone you think could use quality content (don't spam PMs on BHW though...) and ask them if they'd like to post some of your content. For free.

What's the trick with that then?

You start your own website, an online CV basically, where you explain who you are and what you do, and how you can help brands all over the world by writing some awesome content to them.

The free articles you wrote (don't ghostwrite them for free though!) are guest posts, and can seriously help you bringing in some traffic to your website.

From there on out, it's just a matter of closing those visitors to your site to turn them into clients.

There are dozens of excellent guest posting articles online, just Google them.

Make sure to keep the content relevant to what you do, for example write about "How amazing content can really help you grow your business" or "7 Magical Traffic Acquisition Tricks" and speak about how content and content marketing works wonders.

If you need any further help, don't hesitate to ask mate.

I'm really really grateful. I think I can make use of your advises, looks clean.

It felt so good to hear someone who was actually in my state once is a money shark now.

Thanks for all your kind words.

Fiverr is a great place to start. Adjust your rates, offer more than the competition, and get some reviews for the beginning.

I hate to be the giver of bad feeback, but as a professional writer for more than 5 years, I have to say that if you want to attract clients you're going to have to improve your basic standards.

What I mean is you're potentially asking for clients right here, but your initial post is poorly written with glaring errors, and you don't sell yourself.

It hasn't worked out well, not good.

You can write very well at the moment, not quite good.

You don't have many ideas, not much ideas.

Wanna. tnx. ??? COME ON!

If you want to be a writer, think like one, sell yourself as one, and WRITE like one.

I need help dudes. I've been trying to make my pocket money from online.... it hasn't worked out good.

I can write quite good at the moment, but don't have much ideas about how to get clients who would love to pay for my articles.

$100 would be great amount for me, it's lot around here. Would you guys help me with some tips?

I tried iwriter and dotwriter, I don't like them anymore. Can you please suggest how to get human resource clients? Or any other tips you wanna share?

tnx in advance.:o

You can get all the work you can handle here by building a clientele. You can start a BST in the marketplace as well as monitor the Hire A Freelancer threads. Send me a couple of samples of your work and the niches you feel the most comfortable writing for and I will see if I can help you out a bit more.

sigh....I stared at your post for 5 minutes. I guess I have no answer for that...

not gonna thank you, but "will" push myself to get better.

Lots of writers online but many don't have their own business website, that's where I would start... this gives you a competitive edge right off the bat and makes you more legit. Then hit up the platforms and start marketing.

Replies and advises are very encouraging. It encourages me to write articles seriously and do a part time for writing.

for that your should make your skill of stunning sales pitch writing
