In terms of how to file, I can't give out specific advice but in general, it depends on a handful of factors. If you feel as though you have enough expenses in a given year, you may be able to deduct them. You'd have to look into what is applicable but anytime you spend on business costs, it may be something that you can include in your filing. That isn't necessarily limited to hardware costs but expenditures on going to shows, signing up for webinars or even costs in marketing / advertising may apply. You may or may not want to file as a corporation but I don't know if that makes the most sense unless you're generating enough revenue and profit to offset your setup fees.
