Hello Guys !

couple of days a go i started to work on my new site by submiting uniqeu and optimized content to article directories on daily basis and commenting on related ******** blogs for 15 mins a day and i wana add link wheels to my action plan,
but i was wondering how often should i creat one ?? is once a week is ok ? what about two ? and how often do you create yours ? i want to know the limits of this strategie because i don't want to get banned by the G ! and i also wana know how much articles should i outsource for the next month :chairshot

Thanks a bunch

Create one a day for each keyword/phrase.

Waah 1 a DAY  it seems like a lot :) but your answer kind of telling me that there is no limits actually right ? if so, 3 well created wheels a week gonna be just great for me . Thanks!

it's gonna be great if i can hear other opinions :)

I agree 1 a day per keyword phrase. Yes its alot of work, that's what Internet Marketing is. If you want to make money than you have to take ACTION and PUT in the WORK.

By doing 1 link wheel a day for each of your keywords/phrases you will dominate the first page of google for those phrases. So instead of getting 20 uniques to your page per day you could be getting 100-200+ which will bring more traffic, and more buyers. It all depends on how much work you want to put in and how well your product is converting.

Its the difference between $200 a month and $200 a day! Put in the work, research and time and you'll be there! ;)

yet to see a link wheel work for me yet... such disasterous results on my first, i would hate to commit to a daily one. I also heard they can be picked up and this technology is a past trick.

sure feel free to post results, which very few people do.

So far...

I created a wheel for the keyphrase "newest dating sites" and have not seen one single click or index on any of the g pages.

I would aim for one a week and see if it works. they take nearly half a day to do.

This technique definitely works.

Here's the scoop:

- You should be able to generate a complete 6 "spoke" linkwheel in less than an hour (no automation tools). I did my very first having no idea how to use Squidoo, etc. and it still only took about an hour.

- Expect to get sandboxed or Google danced. The first site I tried this on was visited by G within 4 hours and indexed and ranked in 3 days. Great, right? This lasted about a week and then I totally vanished. Nothing, nada, zilch. When I did a "site:" search, G returned NOTHING.

I thought I was banned. :)

About a week later, I started showing up again on G and got bounced around pretty good.

This brings me to about 2 weeks ago when I showed up on page one for my keyword phrase. Guess what? 2 weeks later I am still there - sitting at spot six.

Key learnings:

1. I used the exact same article on my landing page as well as all the spoke pages - probably shouldn't have done that. I've since used the "good" article on the landing/hub and a spin/crappy article on the 6 spokes. Next up - different crappy articles on each spoke - let's see how that does.
2. Expect to get bounced around for a few weeks. Don't agonize over it (like I did). Just move on to the next linkwheel.
3. Do some quality PR backlinks to your landing page and some cheapo social bookmarking to your spoke pages - this is what I do. Maybe it is just busy work, I can't really tell if it matters.

Like everyone says: keep busy at this, over time it will pay off.

Remember, you still need to put some effort into those pages once they settle into the index. You need to work (at least a little!) to keep your good ranking...

The key to building a successful link wheel is to RESEARCH your keyword phrase I wouldnt even think of starting to target a keyword phrase that has over 45k competitors cuz chances are you wont get to the first page although you could.

Always use "quotes" around your keyword in google to see how many competiting sites are in the Big G! If its under 30k you can take the phrase and rank within the first 24 hrs, sometimes even within 2 hrs or less!

Proper research is key to ranking well and getting visitors. I created a link wheel last week 6/08 for a squidoo of mine and as of this morning ive got 281 visitors to it in the past 7 days and still climbing. Although this method MAY be old its a basic method that will NEVER not work in organic rankings! :)

I currently have 2 ten-spoke linkwheels for my main keyword. I've built them using Angela's backlinks.

I think in the future I'll just do six-spoke or 8-spoke wheels by picking out the best sites for this out of her monthly packets as I work my way through them.

I also do a bookmarking demon run on each page that I drop my link on, then ping the page, and have BMD ping my social bookmarking profiles. Some of my spokes have like, 70 inbound social bookmarking links to them.

Thanks a lot guys ! that was some solide infos !!!! How can i describe :p :p thank you very much

the problem it's not that 1 a day is a lot of work, i was afraid from getting banned or something like that ... but now after i make sure that there is no limits !! i'll Rock it

But i still have some worrieds about the compitision issues can you guys tell me what is the maximum searchr results to go for ? or give me any examples about this specefic issues ?

Thank you very much

by the way guys, all the key phrases i wana rank for using link wheels are between 30k and 70k in temrs of compitision in search results when i put the key word between "" like this "keyword"
is this good enough ... and in term of compitision what are the limits for this method to actually show results.

Guys, i really need somebody to answer me about this question !!

It is working since a few years and if you do not believe search for the book "Revenge of the Mininet" and see when it is written.

silly newb here but you point one link to you site and one to the next profile?

i am starting my 1st campaign with the link wheel method today should be pretty easy with all the automated and semi automated tools, also market Samurai and SEnuke...

30k-70k is pretty high but doable. Easier KW would be under ~30k and ideal would have ~5k. You can also do allintitle searches. Anything under 1000 is pretty easy to rank for

the count of competitiors doesnt matter. only the top ten competitors does matter!

think about it!

Also it doesn't hurt to throw some good Article Marketing at these LinkWheels once there in place.
You need an extra kick on most of these.

I have tried the link wheel method , myself , and it works to an extend , but i still feel , that creating about 6- 10 niche related blogspot blogs will do a better job , cos previously , a lot of my blogs got indexed , after i boomarked my pages , specially in digg.

Dont have to use unique articles or anything , just use plr articles , and post about 20 articles on all 6 - 10 blogs daily , but dont ping them .

Later on just post 2 -3 articles daily , and start pinging and slowly go ,hyperlinking niche related keywords,

i believe , blogger has got more potential than hubpages and squidoo lenses.
