As the title says, i want to be a Logo Designer. Where do i start to master it and design professional logos?

start it from manual art(drawing/sketching) in this way you can start the rough ideas of your mind on paper and then comes to learn the digital part.

I second this because i'm guessing that you either have none or beginner skills in graphic design. So you may be restricted to what you can create due to your limitations of the knowledge of the software(Photoshop ect.).
Also, watch a tutorial on how to do anything on photoshop. You will most likely learn how to use different tools in each video. Heres a start .
youtube watch?v=U1UJn4MD4_c (Cant post links due to limitations on account)

the best way to build your design skills in my opinion is to get photoshop and look up some tutorials.

Spend time practicing every day

within a short period of time you will be designing shapes and logos.

You can save generic designs to a file to create new logos from these designs as well to prevent doing the same work twice

Best of luck!

I'll add if you don't have the money for Photoshop or Illustrator, check out the program 'Gimp' -it's free and is similar to Photoshop. Once you have it downloaded, there are plenty of tutorials on how to use the program on YouTube.

You will need:
A4 and pencil, some decent set of compasses <- super neccesary
Peripherials: Scanner (best you can get).
Soft for vectorizing: Illustrator or coreldraw
Soft for showcase:Photoshop (realistic mockups are magic)

google, youtube -> ALOT

test your hand, & your creative mind, in sketching
create your one logo try to drew it again with another logo
learn Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
search on the web for Inspiring logo design,
try & learn & sketching
try & learn & sketching .......

Study online tutorial, Photoshop, Illustrator and make many sketches every day.

for that firstly you should know about html, css, javascript and photoshop/coreldraw.

you need a portfolio ..... people like to see what you are doing before ordering.

I have worked with a few logo designers so far (freelancers) and did some logo work for myself and never needed any kind of coding skills from them. Illustrator is more suitable for logo design. However you can use another application that lets you work with vector graphics. For logos vector graphics are always better than raster graphics since you can easily resize your work as needed with no quality loss.

I don't understand why people are suggesting he master sketching and pencil drawing first.
As a graphics designer myself, if you're interested strictly in designing logos, hand drawing is not mandatory.
Familiarize yourself with the basics of Photoshop and Illustrator (the layouts and don't dos).
Learn more about the Pen Tool because that is the tool you're going to be spending the most amount of time on.

Good luck.

practice on /r/freedesign to learn how to manage projects and deliver what your client wants

Well I guess there are just two sides to be considered: a) technically part: Everything you might be able to learn (working with an illustrator software and everything that comes a long with it) ; b) Imagination (unlearnable, maybe you can embrace that stuff my smoking enough weed?) Cheers, gl with it

I will suggest you try XARA DESINGER PRO. You can buy one or download crack version from torrent.

It combination of Photoshop + Ilustrator but much easier to lear.

Start off with basic photoshop skills. There are a lot of good online tutorials (even lectures on youtube) on how to use photoshop & similar software.

It is not a difficult task to become a logo designer.
Just start creating good drawings with different imaginations. Then, you can start designing logo on free logo designing software like logotypemaker, roomstyler, logomaker, etc.
