$1M/year is roughly $83,334/month. Is it possible to make $1,000,000 a year from Black Hat methods alone? Is there anyone already accomplishing this, or getting close (not that you would reveal yourself, just asking). What type of life could you have on this income?

Most of the wealthy people I have ever known, usually pay themselves a relatively modest salary, the rest going back into growing their business or invested elsewhere.
A lot of the clowns that pay themselves $xxxxxx+ usually spunk their money first time round and have to start again from zero.
Also these days $1000000 isn't a huge sum (no I don't have it and would I like it? duh!), yes you could live comfortably but not extravagantly, and if you got used to a certain lifestyle you would certainly have to continue working.

There's a few ways, of course I'm not 'in' that category. But generally you need to diversify your incomes, which could be a mix of:

- Black Hat CPA Ads (Diet Pills, Skin Care etc.)
- Tech Support Ads (Owning a Call Center has better income potential but you basically have to operate as a legit business, so it's better to do lead gen even though the profit falls shorter.)
- Black Hat Ads/Methods for eCommerce. (Selling products doesn't only have to be to the US. Some people make a killing selling other things that may or may not be considered 'ethical', but legal, to other markets.)

The thing is you need to be prepared as Black Hat has a bigger chance of doo-doo hitting the fan, such as bank accounts freezing depending on your methods like gateway processes, some CPA fads dying out, (One month you can make thousands a day in profit in Diet Pills, once you hit the winter it slows down badly and you can't do anything about it.), your bulk supplier of tech support calls suddenly closes down and it takes time to develop a new consistent relationship to sell these calls with such volume etc.

That's only presenting like 2-3 niches/ideas. Some people make a lot of money with adware or other black hat methods but it all depends on how you make it happen. Don't expect passive income at that magnitude that's for sure. The daily hustle of looking over and analyzing ads (even with outsourcing) and developing relationships with partners while managing your real life will make sure you will rarely find these people around on here.

I just realised that my previous answer didn't really answer your question. So ...

Yes, I think it would be possible to make $1000000 a year from purely Black Hat methods but I doubt most people would operate that way.
I would think most people would use a combination of methods (both WH and BH) to achieve their goals.
As for who has or is making a million then it is impossible to say, and those that were are unlikely to say, and those that do say could be bullshitting.
The lifestyle question would depend on where you lived, in the UK especially in London, a million $ wouldn't go far.

I believe it is very possible to earn 1 million in a year with BH marketing.
Although I do think that it would not be a consistent 3k a day but more likely a few campaigns that generate 10k+ in one day for a couple weeks or so. BH Methods that are so profitable and massive that they can generate that amount of traffic would probably die out quickly aswell, so hitting multiple of these methods would be one way to achieve 1 million in a year.

It's better to go WH though and earn $750 000 a year for 5 years in a row #ConsistencyIsTheKey

Tech Support and Nutra rebills are still very good. You can still bank of millions before they fade away.

You just need CPA offer and traffic driving skills.

For next level, you can try creating own product. But seriously go ask your CPA network manager, how many of their affiliates make more than $1,000,000

Ask 5-10 different networks and see if you get the same answer.

There are many affiliate millionaires, you just need skills to drive traffic and sell product.
