[Meta keywords ] Will it do any harm !

Hi , I 'm working client website as he know little bit about SEO ,
What interesting all his site page contains meta keyword , and he told me to review it as will .
I know meta KW meaning nothing now days , but could it gives negative impact specially G will know exactly what KWs you are targeting .
should I remove all KW meta or leave it as it is .

You can leave the meta KW it won't hurt the SEO ranking simply stop adding meta keyword in the future. Before it was a common practice so G won't penalyse web sites which has been using that before.

If it was my site i'd just junk them. Depends how much effort is needed though! If it's a custom CMS and would need hours of coding them maybe just ignore it.

amazon ranks for a bunch of keywords and still has meta keywords in head. So don't bother.

Meta keywords no longer have SEO value. You may leave them blank or limit it to the ones that would best describe the site's content. Don't go crazy on adding meta keywords if your client wants you to add them.

Hi I just got respons from my client and he told me his site visitors dropped to almost zero .
Accuding to his request I already done some changes on Metac Description and titles , could this be the reasone ! or it just G dance after Meta Vlaues been changed !

googlebot is unpredictable and multiple variables are always working in the background. assuming a site lost tremendous rank on the basis of meta keywords is likely a false dilemma
