IG botting: are bots immune to each other?

Hey all! Just got myself concerned with a question: are bots good with avoiding its own kind? I mean is it common for a bot to start spamming on another one? Or there are ways around it? And what are they exactly?

The idea of botting is to imitate real people and there actions. So if "bots" could recognise one another, then a social network could also identify a bot. Then there would be no bots... So yes bots spam bots...

Bots != Spammers

A bot could do many things on IG that are not spam, such as scrape pics that you can use later, grab comments and accounts for you to do data analysis on, look at what times are most popular for you to post, etc.

Manual internet marketing is fine but is not gonna get you very far in a world where everyone else is using software.

Yes, I understand, but as far as I'm concerned automated bots are at large very obviously fake - 0 followers, 0 likes, 5 random photos etc. - that's where cheap likes come from, right?
That's why I thought there may be some bots tought to avoid such rubbish..

Or am I too optimistic?

Will it show sufficient results? The scale of micromanagement is likely to kill you: you'll get overly well-made accounts - but too few for business. IMHO the balance lies between accounts that's just capable of getting through IG security net wholes and full-handmade accounts that are actually not bots as such - and that's will require software..

Yes, that is the balance, but the TRICK is always to make your bots appear to NOT be a bot, but human!

No Sir, dont know where you got that idea from, but thats far from the truth.
Think about it, with these bots costing what they're costing, do you really think that almost every other post would be about BOTS?
What Im saying is the pure fact that majority of the threads are about bots, should tell you that people are having HUGE success with them.

Botting does not mean scammer, but almost all scammers use bots. So it gives the botting community a bad name.

Personally I like to build by hand and grow organically, then once I hit a certain amount of followers I might introduce something like ifttt. Regardless, I think it's always important to pay attention in detail to your accounts and who is actually following you, which is hard to do when botting hundreds of accounts.

Like I always say, would you rather have a 20k list that makes you 10 sales, or 1k list that makes you 10 sales?
