I thought I should share this with you all, as it seems that June 2016 will definitely be a big deal. :/

Especially for me since I use FollowLiker..

Instagram Platform and documentation update. Apps created on or after Nov 17, 2015 will start in Sandbox Mode and function on newly updated API rate-limits and behaviors. Prior to going Live, and being able to be used by people other than the developers of the app, these apps will have to go through a new review process. Please read the API documentation or the Change Log for more details.

Any app created before Nov 17, 2015 will continue to function until June 2016. After June 2016, the app will automatically be moved to Sandbox Mode if it wasn't approved through the review process. The previous version of our documentation is still available here.

As far as I know, tools like followliker don't use the official api with token system anyway.

This is VERY interesting right here and from what I know they dont use the api and each app has its own access token, but that wont last long as I heard and this confirms.

This leads me to wonder what FL will do regarding this and also does anybody know if MassPlanner will be affected by this at all?

Whew, several people saying it doesn't use the API, but if somehow something happens to FL, i'd better start creating and botting 1000's accounts before 2016 LOL

lmfao bro i said the same shit i already got a supplier for the 1k accounts xD

Follow liker does not use the api lol

It is good if it doesn't use it, but I find it very interesting that every feature that FL has, can be found in their API information.

fl is a browser based software and doesn't use api... so who cares?

There was already a similar post some time ago and one asked the support of FL, they answered it won't affect FL.

This is referring to developer's API which many bots ain't using.

That related to the same post I remember it, I think the developer blog post relates to public API and not bots (from what I've been told).

On the official Followliker thread 'Weblues' was asked: "Instagram is apparently changing their APIs and everything in November.

How could this potentially affect FL?"

His response: "Follow Liker is not affected."

Of course they will say that, every bot supplier will say that. If they anything different it will affect their reputation...use your head

By definition a bot does not use an API but attempts to emulate human behaviour.

I notice alot of people use apps to boost the like count on their posts, which can be really useful for social proof. Do you think these types of apps will be affected by this?

sometimes, you're really funny.

Only apps using the developer's API are affected, most bots dont use them, so I guess that you should be using your head Mr. Instagress :)
