I guess it relies on bounce rate and page views per visitor as much as 20%
its the only way to judge the quality. Sure it can have backlinks from bbc, good interlinking and silo strucurre and a 3k words article but bounce rate and pageviews still play a decent % of role in ranking. You can lower the bounce rate applying mby 1-2 random hours a day a plugin from a bhw member called smth like kill bounce rate

Actually Google had pay some millions or billions (cant remember) to Mozilla so I'm pretty sure there is no difference.
But saying that Google is gangster is a joke.
Regarding SEO, SEO is not dead, SEO is not about backlinks and Social signals + crappy PBN . Its all about quality of all

I believe SEO is not dead. or rather SEO is just a guideline to helping you get a better rank.
SEO tools should just be there to remind you of usage of keywords as those are what people search for in search engine.
content you write and back links helps to bring in more traffic and as you said google "steal" information hence they know what people actually want.
Think logically, google change algorithm just to suit customers (us/advertisers) and prevent sites that provides useless information from getting better rank.
they keep changing because black hats keep trying to break the system.
End of the day, if what what your site has is good (content and seo wise) you will still keep the rank while the algorithm change.
