Thanks, seems like the highest plans are already taken but I'm cool with the other one.

When a company website doesn't even show up on page one for their exact search term, I know to stay away.

https://www.google.com/search?num=40&q=hudson+web+services

But hey there's a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/hudsonwebservices/

123 Main Street in Amarillo does not exist by the way.

Also, posts such as this "Want to earn some quick cash? Message me!" don't bode well for a "hosting company".

But you have this fancy, professional looking Twitter account: https://twitter.com/HudsonWeb

And your About Us states that your address is a house: https://www.hudsonwebservices.com/about-us.php

I'm very confused and concerned.

serversonly (previously shared) and this one has same UI, what is happening here...

I just don't trust these unknown server companies, even for free hosting. Would advise anyone who takes this up has a domain registered elsewhere and also takes very regular backups just in case.

I had a talk with the owner (Hudson). He hosts his servers with ovh, and he said he was offering this so he could get more customers since he just started his company. He currently has 30 customers. From what I believe, it seems legit to me right now.

tell him to sign up here

Hello everyone,
Dylan, thankyou for providing me this link. This is correct what he said, i was providing a year to everyone to gain somewhat of a reputation. I do not have a business address, so i use my home address. If you have any other questions, i would br more than happy to answer them as well as any concerns you have!

I understand your concern and to be honest I dont blame you id be the same way. The backups are taken twice aday using r1soft obviously in an offsite location. I hope that somewhat clears up anh data loss concern.

I'm a customer of Hudson and grabbed his Black Friday Deal which was posted on InnovativeSEO thread. I got 12 months of free hosting and ill be honest here, it is a great hosting which includes everything that others are offering and the speed is amazing. Even after 12 months i'll continue using his Hosting Service. And i suggest Jake to also open a thread here on BHW.

I honestly was kinda scared to open a topic because i am familiar with the rules here

Jake,

Speaking of being familiar with the rules here, I suggest reviewing the following thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/freebies-giveaways/472210-warning-rules-before-posting-here.html

This thread is actively breaking the following:

You MAY NOT collect any information (in any form) from BlackHatWorld's members. This includes, but is not limited to, emails/user names/instant message details/etc. In short, there's no list building allowed.

ALL threads and/or replies published in this section REQUIRE whatever you're offering to the community to be 100% FREE OF CHARGE.

Requiring a credit card for completion of the offer is against the policies put forth in this section. Thanks.

I got my hosting setup without a credit-card. I just had a chat with Jake and he set it up for me.
