Link from tumblr site will help site?

Hello Guys,

I have a tumblr blog and page authority of this blog is 30 and i am gonna add link of my other streaming site (Tv/movie) in footer of this tumblr blog. Will this help my site to rank in google or will effect ranking (negative)??

Make sure to make the tumblr blog relevant to your money site, and yes it will help your rankings. Though I'd use a tier link strat but this is fine

make sure to add same niche site and sometimes it also a black hat method. i got penalized 3 days ago. my websites on niche new year got de-indexed just because i have put my websites links to homepage (blogroll).

I would not add them in the footer. Why not write a natural looking post linking out, then link to it from the page with PA30?

Well, you are atm just showing Google that you're building links to rank, which is against their TOS. Remove the links here and don't use that Tumblr to build a link to your website.
