Greetings!

So today i found a "traffic network" that had a nice modern website. Bought a package to test out their traffic. No traffic arrived, contacted them - nothing. Their website is hotvisitors.com - DO NOT buy from them. Not looking to get my money back just so that others won't make the same mistake.

Why didn't you use someone from here on the marketplace?

EDIT. Wait a sec you only ordered today?

////When will I start receiving my traffic?

Usually you will start receiving traffic within 24 hours of starting your campaign.////

Code:

I'm seriously judging you based on the threads you're creating.

And yes,the FAQs say it all. It doesn't happen instantly. Wait for a day and then start trying to contact them for a possible refund.

Who buys traffic? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I wanted to try it out, I like to test and see what works for my website myself. In addition the price was very low.

I understand that I have to wait, but they have "delivered" the traffic. In their dashboard it states that 5010/5000 users have visited my website. But today the traffic does not even go near that number. if it were to state 0/5000 delivered, then yes - it would be a matter of time. But this is not the case.

What makes you think they didnt deliver the traffic?
Some kinds of traffic (usually garbage traffic eg from popunder) doesnt show in google analytics due to tracking cookies.
Have you checked with other tools?

Just google analytics. But they advertise themselves as "100% HUMAN TRAFFIC" and "QUALITY, TARGETED TRAFFIC" - is that still garbage traffic? I mean even if it comes from popunders, analytics should be able to detect it.

For that price you cannot expect high quality traffic. From my experience you may see some conversions if you are lucky, but its not very likely.

Other traffic providers, like maxvisits & instavisits also arent shown in google analytics due to third party tracking cookies.
I would check your visitors with other tools, they probably got delivered.

There is a reason the price is "very low" - because the traffic is just bots. I can write on my website that my visitors are human and 110% legit but in fact, none are usually and if they are - they will bounce within 10 seconds unless you giveaway unlimited free cars.

What do u expect for there prices some bot traffic isnt even recognized.

nah, I dont think they are bots, services like this usually offer popunder traffic

After reverse engineering a few of my competition I see that the best place to buy traffic from would cost minimum 2k a month...no thanks jeff.

Buying traffic is usually not a good idea. Sometimes they are just pings. Try to avoid buying traffic. You know what they say about if its' too good to be true!

"100% Human Traffic". That reminded me of this:
OP, was your Google Analytics account properly configured before this; was it tracking any data at all? If it wasn't, I would get that sorted out.

Also, double-check to make sure you gave them the right URL; check for any typos.

If your Google Analytics account is keeping track of your data and you sent them the right URL, check to make sure you don't have any filters set up that would exclude that type of traffic.
