Let me tell u the situation first. I have found an old site whose hosting has expired from last 2 month , it has around 2500+ pages of content and the domain is owned by some other person.

I know how to download the site from archive wayback machine, now here comes the question.

Since i don't own the domain name, is there any way you know which i can use to build the same exact site on a new domain. Just domain different and everything same, and i should be able to resume everything, it is built in WordPress which i can see.

Is it possible ?

Yeah forgot to mention that, it is de indexed, not even a single page is there now.

No, not even a single page. The site was under Alexa 18,000 and its content is very good actually. I have no idea why the owner left that site. seriously no idea.

Get the URL's and use the way back machine as in your post.

Either copy and paste them out of there or write a scraper to do it for you.

I think you're better of doing this manually, because you might want to filter out some content. Also, what you want to do is copy some articles from the website and check if they're unique with copyscape or some other tools (maybe even google manually). Find out what theme did the site use and install it on your wordpress. And then add appropriate categories, pages, posts, tags.

You might wanna tweak and filter the contents because some of it may be outdated and just so you can say that you give your own twist. And for ethics, maybe?

If the content is still actually good, go ahead. Anyone can use de-indexed content on own website. This content will be 100 % unique in eye of google.
