lol If you have to ask on bhw, you don't have enough money.
You need a strong backend, customer service people, risk management, payment methods and processors for several different types and countries, a rating system, security for your users, etc etc...
And then you need marketing.

Just buying the fiver script would be the cheapest way...starting from scratch will take a lot of time, effort, will and $$$$$

Why on earth would you want to waste your time and money starting a site like fiverr, you are up against some big players with big budgets. You'd need to overcome the hurdle of sellers not listing because of no buyers and buyers not buying because of few sellers. difficult to start sites like this, you'll need to convince new sellers to bother to list and you'll need huge amounts of traffic just to keep them happy, if they don't make sales quickly they'll leave.

There are many sites like Fiverr, most of them never make it anywhere. You'd need to have some serious $$$ to get it off the ground.

that is a wonderful dream you have there. it is great, unrealistic but also realistic to some. you need to have a lot of cash and I dont think you can do it by yourself. my advice for you that will greatly help you is, "just sleep, and dream again".

it will consume your time effort and money even they ones that are close to being successfull are falling apart 2 years ago fiverr got funding of $15million i dont know about now,tho. just come to a reasonable sense with those figures it wont work if it dose u will not see immediate success i surgest go for some thing else starting a fiverr like site is like starting a cpa network
