Whats really working in 2015 ?

Hi there SkyrocketSEO, ye i know links are not going away anytime soon. But aquiring them in a industry that focuses on led lights for machines is pretty difficult.. there no blogs around here so I really have 0 ideas in how to aquire them. PR-stunts has crossed my mind but is harder then it sounds. Like i said I have 0 restrictions and just want to test what I can do when i push the limits as far as what Google allows, but in order to do that I still need to have somewhat of an idea what to do. Please feel free to fill if you got some really naughty blackhat strategies ^^

Most Industries do have specific sites, blogs or trade associations, especially manufacturing/lighting/electronic industries.
You really need to start with some Keyword Research and determine what keywords you want to rank for.

Im aware of which keywords I need to rank for, but I will focus mainly on long tale keywords to start with despite having average competition on the "biggest" keywords since long tale takes up around 80-90% of all traffic. I have added over 2000 words in each of my categories to begin with.

I am so sick and tired of SEO guys, after paying them they got me to nowhere. Since I learned everything in life myself (especially in the world of computing) I thought its time i master this once for all as fast as possible. The onpage SEO is pretty easy, sure.. you always have details here and there that could improve your ranking a bit further but im focusing on the big thing which is linkjuice and any other method that will make me see a drastic change.

Regarding the blogs, there arent quite any good ones and im still too new to be able to estimate how much linkjuice is worth x amount of money.

It isn't rocket science. You're thinking too much and finding excuses for why something won't work.

You need Authority links and Relevant links. Authority links DO NOT need to be on sites related to your site, hence the reason you need links with "relevancy"...

SAPE is a great way to get authority...Just don't use any keywords in anchor text. Your relevant links can be created by you. Build dozens of tier 1 web 2.0 links and then hit those with a tier 2 level of GSA or other links. All the while drip some social signals in for the hell of it.

Test test and re-test. And then test what you tested.

There's ALWAYS another way to skin the cat. Get up and take action.

You got me pumped up, thanks I will try to incorporate / read up on what you just said there. And yes you are right, I've been so colored by all the information that I soaked up from the so called "seo-experts" that I've come across. Like there's no point linking from a website that's not directly affiliated with your industry and so on. I think i need to re-program my mind and simply ditch what I've heard thus far and just try out new things to see whether or not they work.

May i ask you which tool you would recommend for keeping track of the ranking in the serp? (if there's any good free option to start with). And also are tools like XRumer, SENuke and GS anything I should look into? Do they even work?

Im using serplab to track my rankings - serplab.co.uk/

I was using serpbook but thee past 2 months they have been messing up a whole lot.

Plus serplab is a lot cheaper.

First of all

Regarding your cloned webstore, do you have the same content (products and descriptions etc.) as you have on the main store? If so, you might have a duplicated content issue which you need to fix first.

Is the cloned webstore on the same IP as the main one? If so you might want to consider to move it to a unique class c ip before start experimenting.

Is the cloned webstore on a subdomain to the main store (cloned.yourstore.com)? If so you want to move it to a unique domain before start experimenting.

Moving forward

What's working is PBNs, you need to start building your own PBN, there is no shortcuts here and yes you will need to invest money. If you can build around 5 to 10 PBN sites per month with decent metrics it still can take you up to 6 months before you have page 1 rankings for your targeted KWs depending on your niche of course.

Most people give up way sooner than this and that is why most people fail at SEO 2015.

How many sites is a good amount and how much investment would it be?

Send money directly to Google bank account. Whatever you do, don't use Paypal. They hate that...

First and foremost, thank you for replying and contributing to the thread I created, I really appreciate it and same goes for everyone else.

To answer your questions, no I dont have any duplicate content as everything has been written from scratch, its hosted on the same webhotel but it has a entirely unique domain. However I have no content in the categories only for the products unlike my money making webstore, this is something I would need to fix before launching it.

I been reading about PBN here: url: zimmerseo.net/how-to-build-a-private-blog-network-pbn/, and it doesnt feel impossible to achieve. Is there anything to think about here? I am not asking you to layout every little detail I will read and study this myself, but is this the way to go? Im just concerned im not wasting time learning all of this since you hear so many contradicting things regarding PBN as the author says himself in the link i pasted.

I feel that regardless of who I pay for SEO the job wont get done properly. Like one guy told me once long time ago, become an expert in SEO and you will have the most powerful knowledge in the world of business due to being able to drive traffic. Im just afraid that regardless of how much time i put into this, that my competitors will just hire seo firms with endless funds and expertise that will steamroll me in the long run despite my hunger to be #1.

It really depends but as an example: Medium niche in a smaller market it can take you 50 - 100 sites.
It all depends on the competition and metrics on the expired domains that you are able to find and register.

Domain: 10 dollar year
Hosting: 30 dollar year
Create your own content: 0 dollar

So around 40 dollar per site x 50 - 100 sites = 2000 - 4000 dollar investment

But have in mind that you can get penalize before the time you get a return on this investment, it is highly unlikely but the risk is there.

Have in mind that sending links from a PBN is against Googles guidelines and you can get penalize for it. Most sites are doing it though so you cant restrict yourself from doing it if your competitors are doing it.
If you don't accept the risk you will not rank up there with the big guys.

When it comes to the sites to be used in the PBN I would go for metrics around PA 20 and DA 20 and 10 referring unique domains as a minimum.

If you pay for SEO you have to be very clear in what you want. You seems to have some knowledge for the on-page part so the only thing you need is links. If you are very clear to the person that you are buying an SEO service from that you want, let's say 5 links per month based on the metrics above or he wont get paid you can't really loose.

Good luck!

I dont think Scrapebox has the same working value what it had earlier, but yes GSA still remains the same and working good in my end.

Thanks for the info, well I love to learn things by myself I do have a true passion for computing so it makes things a bit easier. But for some reason I always felt SEO is something very shady with no real guidelines, but I guess i am wrong on that end. I found your reply to Divination to be very informative and interesting. After reading those few sentences, everything became much clearer why the seo guys have been doing things in a way that has drove me nuts. Is there any way around the extra fee of hosting? I assume the reason to buy hosting is that you dont want all domains hosted on the very same server, but is it ok to use 2 domains per server or is this a big NO?

Worth mentioning is also that I have used Public article sites or whatever you call them (2013), which boosted the site at first but it didint take more then a few months until things went to hell and i lost rank...I assume it had to do with the website loosing lot of its power due too overuse of outgoing linkjuice or Google updates.

I've come across the PA, DA, PR before but I need to truly understand every little detail about it before I invest in this. I found that Scrapebox could be a great tool to find expired domains with high PR, and it was extremely easy to do without the need of any domain broker ;)

Honestly, would you say im better off paying or creating the PBN myself? In a way I want total control and also if I create several business it would help tremendously, knowing that I can do all of it myself without relying on 3rd party that has disspointed me so many times in the past.

Am i being naive here 0scan0, am I underestimating the work required?

p.s
Also im wondering because im located in Sweden, then I would have to look for expired domains etc in Sweden and would be isolated to the swedish market mostly i assume? This would drive up the prices more then if i let say used international providers..

There is really no way around the fee of the hosting other than finding cheap ones, there is a lot of cheap hosts in the US.
Correct, you don't want them on the same C IP class address. The more diversified IP addresses between your network sites the more natural it looks.

This will be something that I would remove or disavow.

I use it myself for this purpose, they have some good add-ons for this purpose, you will find tutorials on how to find expired domains with scrapebox on youtube.

Yes you are better of creating it for yourself, you seem to have the knowledge to do so for sure. And you can use it for your other sites as well.

I recommend that you go for common Swedish tlds as .se or .nu so that will isolate you and drive up the prices a bit as you said.

Ye i already watched many videos since that post and it seems pretty straight forward, regarding the domains I mean. Thank you very much for the replies man, I really really appreciate it.

I would like you to just clarify 2 things if you dont mind however:

1. How important is it to not use the same IP if you have a unique domain for a cloned webstore which you want to experiment with? Is it a huge mistake or is it more like..a thing to consider? Both webstores are hosted under same account with same theme but different colors. They both got a unique domain however.

2. How important is it to stay away from the super budget hostings? I was aiming for maybe 30 sites to begin with. My competition is medium and you cant forget we're not talking about medium international terms, but for swedish mesures.

If you are building a PBN you would want to do it for your main store. If you want to experiment with really shady links and buying a bunch of domains that you 301 redirect directly to the cloned store, then you need to separate them for sure.

If (when) Google is cracking down on PBNs they will target all self proclaimed SEO hosting companies. That would be consider to be a bad neighbor hood where you don't want your sites to be hosted.

A cheap hosting company is totally fine as long as they don't market themselves as a SEO hosting company.

Ok so I understand what your saying but Im still unsure whether or not to seperate the PBNs if Im building a serious PBN from scratch for my main webstore. I assume i need to do this right? And if so.. can i keep 2 domains on each webhost or do i must go for a unique one for each.
