I am not confident about releasing my source codes to hosting companies, so I made a decision and just purchased a Raspberry Pi 2 (model b)!!!
I'm so excited haha. Can't wait get my bots run on it 24/7.

I used to work with 10+ year old notebooks, but they are noisy, big, and waste too much power.
All I will need with this is an ethernet cable and a phone charger lol.

Hope everything goes well with my delivery and my package will arrive before/at Christmas.

I have one - but don't be too confident on being able to run many bots simultaneously on it

Congratulations i think........ no idea what a Raspberry Pi 2 is.

I prefer using virtual OS on my home computer for such purposes, it's easy to backup and system resources are easily scalable if I need them.

+1
I have it too and it's not very fast.. good enough for kodi, but multiple bots? .. naw

A Raspberry Pi is a mini computer for 20-35 dollars with ARM prossesor the same as a mobile phone so it cant run windows or other x86 operating system. so you need a raspberry pi operating system,
I did heart something about windows 10 supporting ARM.

Congrats OP is this for eating ?
it depends on your appetite i guess

i wounder if we can start multi os at the same time...

How can you surprise yourself if you already know you are going to surprise yourself? :p

Well it does not have to be fast.. I can just create a swap partition for more ram lol.

You might want to check this out instead: http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php for a much beefier alternative.

Well as I see it comes with a fan, in case of rpi, I just wanted "toy" I can play around with. I would rather invest in building a server if i needed something stronger than that.

Anyways, I decided to not to go with rpi 2 after some research. I found out that there is a much cheaper alternative for what i need.

It's even stronger slightly, but only costs $15. It's not about the money.. but why i would pay more than twice of the amount for the same thing ahah. :)

One of the advantages of being schizophrenic is that you can surprise yourself on christmas day!
