[Guide] How I find writers for $0.6/100

Read it, tried it and got me a writer. Thanks, hekke! The content was fine too.

IMHO: I think they bite, because we'll give them 5 star reviews, which will enable them to get higher pay from other jobs in the future.
Exactly. Most of these writers seem to be college graduates that need some income and writing for a few hours per day can make them enough for all their expenses. Actually, my writer told me his work-schedule and it was awful. He sleep for 4 hours a day and made $1,8K. I know that other people here do the exact same work schedule and are here to try to escape it - NEVER GIVE UP!

However, in January when I will hire him officially as a full-time writer for me he will work for 5 hours a day and make more than he does now. I really hope that it can help him get a better lifestyle and enjoy life. It is really a win-win situation.

And yeah, many bite just solely on the 5* reviews. Glad you found a writer! :)
good guide! thank you very much.
Thanks for your feedback! :)

Very intesting and informative thread. Going to subscribe and create an account with upwork. :)

So quality from your experience from this site is much better and cheaper than fiverr?

Thanks!
Yes, totally. Most of the time when you CopyScape a piece of content you've gotten from Fiverr you'll see how much are just copy+pasted content. I've actually bought some content from one Fiverr person recently for a few web 2.0's as I was lazy but that is the only thing that Fiverr content (usually) can be used as.

Great OP thanks. please what about hiring Indian writers with good rating.

You can hire people from any country, that does not matter. As long as they can write content that is good enough for your projects there shouldn't be any problems. Always make sure to Copyscape the content you receive from your writers before you publish it - not matter where the writer comes from. Also make sure that the articles you receive make sense, once you get to know your writer you won't be needed to proofread it. Personally, I don't read what my writer publish, I know he do a good job! :)

Good advice there. I actually didn't know how to find a good writer. Now am really equipped courtesy of you. thanks

Before you hire an editor, you need to know what kind of help you're looking for your content.
This guide made my day, thank you hekke

Also, a quick question: Is a good idea that your Editors knows your website(s)?

Would just like to say I saw this thread before but never got around to it, went ahead with it the other day and had a few applicants, 2 of them very good, one offered reduced price of $5 (worth playing about with it for sure) and I had the test article in a matter of hours, for this quality I'd normally be paying $1.50-2.00/100 words

Had a look through the job posts as well, quite a few are just pasting the OP lol

Last time I ordered one article for $2/800 words, he researched and without any articles issues but I feel baaaad for him only $2 is not good, so I had given him $4/800 words for next articles, we both happy and till now he is providing me good articles and can be used on my money site. :D

I'm paying $5/700 words on iWriter... while there is a lot of crap content submitted (spun or really bad english) there are gems that I then tip up to $4 per article.
I have one now that I submit requests directly to on iWriter and it seems we are both fine with that (according to the messages she sent me).

I had writers hired here from BHW that were outsourcing (always a problem when there is no direct communication). I don't feel like revising one article 5 times because the writer didn't get it in first place or the one outsourcing forwarded wrong requirements.
From all those I tried here, there was only one writer that really writes on his own and is worth the higher price-tag ~$2/100 words. But since he's so good, he's always busy so I returned to iWriter for the majority of content I need written...

This is the reason I wrote this guide - to help people that don't really know how to do it and also for those that want to cut their content cost!

Why not? 99.999% don't know (1. how to do it, (2. won't do it because of laziness.

Nice to hear that you found a few writers with this method!

Yeah, I've heard from people that all they see is people copy+pasting the example I had in OP now.
thanks op , i was looking to hire someone :P
Great to hear that I could help you!

Sounds really good! Congrats on finding yourself a good (and cheap) writer! :)

Hehe, I think I know who you're talking about. :) Yeah, iWriter and Upwork are both similar and work just as well. :)

I added this page to my Favorites, excellent post. Thank you!

Hi dude!
You can get :amish:best writers on freelance websites.
You can get professional content writers on sites like odesk or any other freelance site.

Really helpful in terms of the process, especially with the 5-star bait. I'll try it although I have a question : What if you want to build an authority/money website but the niche isn't something you are fully aware of? How do you judge if the content provided is something that makes sense and gets to convert within your website ads etc?

nice spin on this idea wit hte rating hook - will give it a go

hi
what is a better choice. hire people in Upword/freelance sites, or pay services here?

at first I posted a job in Upword for 10$/1000 words, only 2 person apply, but I chose 1. that one write me sample ok, but not excellent. I decided not to hire him. then I ended up buying a article from a service here.

What a mind-blowing insight you shared with us today!

I would just see what the other sites say, and if your content answer the same questions like your competitors. I am not really aware of most of my niches, but my writer is always writing like he knows the niche and do proper research before writing my article! :)

Seems like a lot of people started using this method and that it is hard to find writers on Upwork for the same low price. What I did recently was that I added a dollar to the each 1000 words, so my listing was $7/1000 instead of having like all the others have now at $6. $700 for 100K words of content is EXTREMELY cheap.

There are good providers here, but most are a bit more expensive and usually not as good in quality. On here we are marketers, business owners, etc, so our natural instinct is to make as much as possible and work as little as possible. Most of the guys on here have teams of writers which means that you can get a really good article on the first day, then a less talented writer write your other article and the whole feel of the site is weird as they use different formatting or writing styles. I prefer 1 writer as then you can teach them how to do things like you want it, less work for you and a better TAT usually.

Going to try this method. Hope to find some quality writers :)
Very interesting and thanks!
Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully you found a writer! :)

Good guide.
We can also use article spinning sites for spinning data into unique one.
