Hey. Some people might have seen my past journey where I attempted to start a journey into the Amazon Affiliate work. I started off with my first niche that turned out to be fairly competitive. To date, I think it's made me about $200 in 4-5 months and my target was to get to $10 a day...I thought this was a good target to start with however I got bored of the niche.

About 3 months ago, I added another site not expecting too much. I got articles written, started with new domain and away I went. I've only made about 5 backlinks to date, as well as Web 2.0 profiles and social shared. Out of nowhere, my site started ranking hard (Ranked 9 for a 165k monthly searched kw), my traffic shot up and my earnings went through the roof - literally. I smashed my $10 a day target within seconds, and am cashing in hard.

I've now got another niche that looks like a year round niche but with zero affiliate competition, and around 6k searches a month for a popular buyer keyword. I know my killer site has been a lot of luck, and this one will be a little more hands on, so I want to try and document this properly.

So far I've done:
  • Bought a domain and set it up through Cloudflare
  • Installed Wordpress
  • Ordered 1 article

I'm going to get more article and structure the site properly before building any social profiles etc

Cost
Domain: $10
Content cost: $6
Total cost: $16

Earnings
Commission: $0

If anyone wants to ask questions, please do so here, as I won't respond to PM's

Became aware of you after your comment in Hekke's thread. How many articles did your 2nd site (the one that exploded) have on it/does it have on it now?

Nice. I just selected a decent niche so I'm ordering articles now. Do you PERSONALLY just go for money keywords (best/best of/cheapest/top X 2015) or do you do others as well?

Best of luck with your journey. It's nice to see people giving a conclusion to their previous journey -whether it failed or succeeded is not important - instead of just abandoning the threads and forgetting about it.

You will as successful as your previous project.
1) How many words did you pay for $6?
2) How do you outsource your article? Give some keywords that let the writer do it from start? or give an article to rewrite?
3) Where do you outsource your article?

Thanks.

Wow, congrats on your success. What kind of backlinks did you have on your previous site?

Good luck Evo. I'm just about to start Amazon-ing again, having not had a site for a couple of years. It'll be interesting to follow your journey to see if I can pick up some tips.

I went for all the buyer keywords, as well as target actual product names with tails like reviews, amazon, cheap etc. When I got into this niche, there was no competition so I had free reign, and could target whatever I wanted. There is now competition, but I have the history now, and I target a lot of keywords naturally

1) 1000 for $6
2) Upwork. Hekke has a good thread on how to get articles. I give them some keywords to use, but personally I like it when the just type away as the keywords come naturally.
3) Upwork

Thanks. I hada 50 Web 2.0 profiles, 150 social shares, and then about 10 Web 2.0 backlinks
