Hosting

If I contact a business about setting up a website, and assuming the owner has no knowledge of this whatsoever, how do I go about hosting?

Obviously they need a hosting account, and for it to be renewed it would need to go on their card - would I have to ask for their card details to set it up?

You get yourself a host (with your own affiliate link) and then ask them money for like some 5 years package, etc..
Also ask them to contact you after 5 years...

ohhhhh so this is how it is done?

Wont they be able to log onto the hosting then however and see my card details?

As surely I will have to hand over all the details to them?

You won't had over your hosting account or Cpanel details to them, nor will they ask..
As they have 0 knowledge about this.

Get a reseller acount, and bill them your own price.

Reseller account (useful if you have or prob will have multiple customers), or sign up for their own account and bill them, or direct them to a host through your affiliate, but this sounds unlikely.
