How to Rank - A Quick Guide for Newbies

Thank you very much! Please pardon my ignorance, I have looked up many guides for GSA, however I cannot see how to apply them to what you said by
I prefer to fire GSA SER up for this part, but you can buy from the marketplace for diversity. This is not a GSA guide, but to keep it simple, I want to build these links:

- Social Bookmarks
- Social Network
- Article Submission
- Blog Comments

If you are using GSA, create different projects for each type of link and watch the program until it builds the amount you want. GSA can verify more links than you intend on making. I use strict filter of under 25 OBL and over a PR 3. PR does not mean much, but I do find I filter out bad sites this way.
I imagine this means you choose 1 certain category on the left for each different type of link? However I cannot find on the internet anywhere which says which category to use for each type of link. I would be so grateful if you could possibly please give me some help regarding this matter? Thank you very much.

I just love this thread. It has destroyed any fears or concerns I've had about "the process", well almost. I think I have a pretty good handle on everything except, motivation, faith that it works. I've been building web 2.0's for 3 weeks, and they are indexed. Seems my keywords have gone DOWN in rankings.

I know though in my head, its probably too soon to see any improvement, but it still messes with my head, like I'm doing all this link building for nothing.

This guide is EXCELLENT, guess it just takes time and patience !

This is a great guide to read, answerd alot of my Q's, and will help me to kickoff my journey!:super:

When you fire up GSA and create a new project, on the left side are link types. That is where you select which type of link you want.

It takes playing with a tool to figure it out. Keep playing and eventually things will make sense. That is how I learn, at least.

That is Googles delayed ranking algo. When it looks like you build links, you get hit. It will bounce back in a few weeks.

OP thanks for your share, I have few questions.
1. Do I need to write unique content for each and every Web2.0 or manually spun content enough?
2. Do you think gsa to money site will be safe?
3. How do index the links created with Web2.0?

Hats off to you :You_Rock_. You shared a great guide for newbie. Can you suggest any other buffer site rather than web 2.0.

Thanks again! May I please ask a really stupid question? When making the 2.0s how do you make sure they are do-follow? I have made one on the first 20 of the link you kindly provided but a few said "This site cannot be found on google". Does this mean they are not do-follow? Thanks

"This Site cannot be found on google = The site Not yet Indexed in google, does't matter do follow or no follow"

Great Job! I appreciate your guide especially for starters. :headbang:I learned a lot from keywords research section. You did it outstandingly. Keep it Up.

So, I assume that it's useless to make 5 bloggers, 5 wordpress, 5 weebly for each keyword right?

I'm guessing you want to just use 15 DIFFERENT web 2.0 places for that keyword right?

Also, when doing second tier, do you link too the post with the link back or the root of the web 2.0?

You can use spun content as long as it is unique and readable.

If you do it right, GSA is safe.

To index 2.0s I use a few methods, namely social bookmarks and comments.

Anything do - follow and contextual will work.

That means they are not indexable or not indexed. When it indexes it may be no - follow but it should show up in google.

Yes, you want referring domain diversity so you want different platforms.

Many thanks for the information!

I have just started my journey trying to get my website ranked well on google and have completed my first Web 2.0 on Weebly only to be met by this:

Your free site will not be found on search engines such as Google.Upgrade Now to attract visitors to your site.

Anoying to say the least. What are you guys using to create web2.0s?

Hi, thank you for all of your help. Where you say
If you are using GSA, create different projects for each type of link and watch the program until it builds the amount you want.
how many should I be aiming for? You say
Only a couple links a day to make your page look like it is naturally growing.
but does this mean sorry only a couple of each link per day, or only a couple of all links each day? And as the days increase what do you do then? Thanks

How do you write well converting content? DO you take a "I'm a professional and this product is good" approach or "im a regular person and this product helped me" approach?

Do i have to submit all my 2.0 blogs in webmaster tools?

That is something I have not experienced myself but heard about that happening.

Weebly seems to now be requiring you to pay to have your blog indexed with new accounts. Old can still switch to index the blog.

Sorry I never mentioned that, as it is discouraging. I have yet to run into that myself as I have not build a brand new Weebly in quite some time.

Per my knowledge, Weebly is the only Web 2.0 which 'changed' recently.

I build my Web 2.0s by hand, like you are. The best auto creator such as Rank XYZ or FCS Networker still are not perfect and do not do the job as well as I would like.

Only a couple links per day. Manually watch your projects and shut them off when you get a couple links.

How do you write well converting content? DO you take a "I'm a professional and this product is good" approach or "im a regular person and this product helped me" approach?

That entirely depends on the type of site. I worry less about conversions than I do site theme.

If it is a review site, I act like I am a regular guy. This converts better and seems more real.

If it is an authority site, I act like an expert. People will want to come back and read advice from an expert.

You need to know who you are selling to and pick the best approach to make the conversion. I am not dogmatic, I use what works.

If I want to sell a clickbank product I tend to go with a conversational tone and act as if I am a regular guy who fixed a problem with a clickbank product.

If I want to push adsense clicks on an authority website I tend to act as an expert and I just supply the person information.

It is not always that cut and dry, but that is how I generally do things.

Do i have to submit all my 2.0 blogs in webmaster tools?

I submit none in WMT.

I use social bookmarks, blog comments, indexing services, and ping services to get everything indexed. It does the trick.
