Is it possible to build a large Instagram account without bots?

I'm new to Instagram and trying build a large legit account.

Is it possible to build a large Instagram account without bots?

I have bought a few shoutouts, but got a total of 7 followers, about the same I get on a regular day.

Obviously it's not growing fast enough, so I want to figure out what I am doing wrong and if it is possible to build a large account manually.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes... lot of way to done it without bot, but you need a lot of effort on manual at first and pick your shout out carefully because its going to be useless to have shout out on first few days of account creation

Step 1.
Post at least 20 goods content at first and maintain to post at least 5 HQ post each day. ALWAYS! spam many hashtag on the firsts few photos and re upload if necessary to gain free likes and follower from bot account =) trust me you'll need it.
to choose the good tag to gain follower try http://www.tagsforlikes.com

Step 2.
Hand pick a real human according to your niches and follow them and commenting good stuff to make the engagement
( hoping that they would follow back ) do this on every moment simultenously

Step 3.
Once you have decent amount of follower like 1k - 2k follower find a small SFS group and join them. Remember to keep the good HQ post.

Once you feel that you grew big enough, then you buy shout out.
you could do it with mention too if you have budget.

Content and interaction is the key to grow organically. It's a lot of effort but the result is off course better than bot. You could grew at least 3k per week if you focus enough, i know someone that gained 1k follower per day manually now his page at 100k++

follow bigger accounts in the same niche as you, and when the post a picture find the recent ones and follow the likers of the pictures. that's how I got my first 500 in like a week

I did try to comment on big pages in my same nich but the comments gets denied, if I comment on smaller accounts it goes through. not sure why?

How many hashtags to begin with would you suggest? And thanks for the hashtag tool, ill definitely use it!

its because your account is brand new... and don't @username at your first comments...
though commenting on big pages is not worth try smaller one...
grab an autotext for your phone.. so you would easier to comment.

Go for 30 hashtag, delete and re tag if neccesarry to gained more fakes. =)

Instagram is the easiest when it comes to building account on social media because there's no daily following limits and Instagram's app interface makes it very to use but at the same it's difficult to bot it as it has an hourly following limit , but that's not our concern as we'd be doing everything manually. (you can still bot it but you need to keep your PC on 24/7 or you need a VPS)

Make sure you begin with building many accounts, not just one. I am building almost 10 accounts and i am getting like 70-80k collective followers per month. I have never used a BOT and never spent any money on shout outs, and never will.

When you use Instagram's app there's extremely less chance of getting banned or there's none at all.

Well, yes you can, but honestly, you'll be doing same things as the bot, just liking, commenting, following..
check the journey section, someone build an empire from the bottom on IG manually, you should read the thread.

I am not building the Instagram to monetize so I'm sticking with one account, I want to make sure I do it all by the rules so I don't get banned.

What is the chance of getting banned by posting the same comments over and over?

I don't so IG I so tumblr but I grew an account manually that's at 20k now by hand. Just post hq stuff get a few followers, start queing stuff up and use ifttt to make things faster then after awhile it snow balls and because semi auto pilot, I get about 100 new followers a day with very little effort now. There's even been times I neglected my account for weeks and was still getting followers.

Yes, it definitely is but it takes a lot more time than it should which is why people prefer to use automated tools and services which makes their lives a lot more easier! And you get real followers a lot more quickly increasing your popularity on Instagram eventually increasing your sales or providing better conversations for your offers.

A little boost while starting the account could help as the more the number of followers on the account, the easier it is to get more followers! And the higher engagement on the pictures, the more people will get attracted towards it engaging themselves in the conversations increasing your following.
