Facebook Fanpage URL Question

So I just reached 100 likes and wanted to claim my fan page custom url. Unfortunately facebook/mybrand and facebook/my.brand are taken, but when I search those URLs they do not come up as active. Is there a way I can claim those as I own the domain name behind the brand name? If not, what are some tips on creating alternate URL path?

Unless you have some sort of copyright over the name I doubt they will do anything about it - maybe add 'official' to the url with your site name - unfortunately it's pretty much first come first served
