How to choose a good niche?

They say to choose a niche where you can write about something you are passionate about. If you are going to hire a writer, then never mind.

Here's an easy tip. Look at the first page of SERP (google). If you see ezine articles there, then you can compete [unless they did some serious backlink building to those articles, which is rare]

Why can I compete if I see ezine articles when searching?

Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but I think that such a fundamental step should be taken on your own.

I think it's better outsourcing content writing, since from my point of view it's the most boring and tedious task to do. And you don't need a person that understands Internet Marketing for that.
