OK the title is just attention grabber :). So this was the weirdest thing, i receive an email from Paypal telling me that some Chinese guy called Seet Yong fei has requested a payment of $200, next is an email requesting a payment of $300, next is $50. I said ok let him request all he wants that poor guy i'm not sending him anything. Couple minutes later .. "You just sent a payment to Seet Yong Fei". Paypal actually sent him $50 without me even authorizing it.

Sure thing i flipped and went to change everything regarding my account including password, security questions and the primary email, along with refunding that payment.

I am pretty sure tho i didn't slip my password to a Chinese guy or anybody else. So how did he do it.. idk.

Just had to share what happened here maybe someone had a similar incident. I still admire whatever this guy did and will try to get a business deal with him if he ever replies :D

What the hell is with the clickbait titles floating around here? And why is this posted in the introduction section?

You people need to stop sharing the same water source.

sorry the title disappointed you :D, title just popped in my head when i started the thread.

Looks like he baited you, I have had that happen. They phish via those invoices. Hard core. Check where it was sent from, bet you boots that they aren't from PayPal.

All i've got is this guy's name and couple emails.

You got hacked (well phished actually probably). He does the invoices/money requests because then when he pays himself from your account like that its less chance of the transaction being frozen/held/reviewed so he's able to withdraw it immediately.

Idk how this happened but i'm glad to have disappointed him.

You probably opened a fake paypal email, and inserted your user details to signin, so you should change the password of any other site that uses that same email and password.
