Hi all. Just wanted to say I've purchased this plugin couple of months ago. Tbh, I haven't earned anything yet but I havent really promoted it much. Google has indexed some of my older pages but its a bit of pot luck. I guess if you can drive organic traffic in via social media that would work. I have noted that Google has indexed my pages so that's a positive.
I'll make sure to post an update as soon as I have made my first reoccurring income.
I guess the question I want need to ask is.. How do we create target specific traffic? If we could fix that on the cheap, his plugin by no means is dead. It's just not very seo friendly

One of the advantages of these sites built with AliPlugin is that they usually start generating organic traffic quickly, even if you don't do any promotion work (however it is highly recommended of course). After you complete bulk import using the plugin you get a lot of products on your store. A lot of products on your store means a lot of pages which Google starts indexing finding long tail keywords in product descriptions. As a result you get many pages indexed by Google = more organic traffic = more sales = more commission. I would also recommend trying social media as well.

The program is up and running. They just changed the commission structure. Now they pay 8% commission on all orders, but removed 30 day cookies.

Yes 8% commission however they removed the 30 day session cookie part wherein thousands of affiliate members loss sales. I've been on a lookout on another forum and a lot of members got frustrated. Some discontinued their website, some they just go with the flow and waiting what will happen next. Will aliexpress realise this change that they made? A lot of affiliate members emailed but no one ever reported they received a single response. What is happening?
For the past 3 weeks I only got 1 product sale in a week which I think is a big loss.
They removed the cookie ??? Thats explain the lack of sales...
RIP AliExpress Affiliate Program.

How long is the cookie tracking period?
AliExpress uses session based tracking after a visitor was directed to AliExpress through your affiliate link.

For the last 2 weeks I was monitoring the situation and analysing stats of AliExpress affiliates after changing the commission structure and removing 30 day cookies. I have collected enough information from people who work with affiliate sites and affiliates who are using other traffic sources to earn with AliExpress affiliate program.
As a result, earnings of affiliates who did not use affiliate sites decreased by 6 times on average.
The situation with affiliate sites owners is different. About 30% of them (roughly stats of course) also reported about decrease. The majority of affiliates I was able to talk with told me that their earnings are rather stable. And I have some clients who enjoy the increase in their commission income (especially those who rely on organic traffic).
The explanation is simple. AFFILIATE SITES LESS DEPEND ON COOKIES.
When a user is searching for a particular product on Google he finds your site and lands on the necessary product page. He reviews the product and if he likes it and the price seems reasonable, he clicks buy now button and is redirected to AliExpress product page to complete the purchase. Here you have much more chances that a user will buy straight away comparing with a user who came from no one knows where, just clicking some link on Facebook or blog post.
Unfortunately, I can't make these affiliates (who still earning good commission with affiliate sites) visit this thread and tell you about it. As you can notice there were very few people here who shared their success when 30 day cookies were live. But now we can see a lot of affiliates on Internet complaining that AliExpress took away the great source of income. Where have you been guys?
Anyway! Removing 30 day cookies is a loss for everyone and I want to provide some solutions that will help AliExpress affiliate sites owners to sail through this problem with flying colors.

Please visit Payment Center page and check how much you have now on balance awailable to withdraw. The point is that the money from previous month do not appear on your balance instantly.

They only paid me $4.11 see http://prntscr.com/8wmsv7 .. I thought you said the completed payments will be basis of monthly payments? Why is it that only the "Completed orders" are counted?

Because a completed order means the buyer is satisfied and AliExpress has released the payment to seller. Otherwise the buyer may ask for a refund and in this case there are no earnings for the seller or affiliate(s). It is specified in the Top Questions:
