Most of Pinterest users are women women 25-45 y.o. This is definitely not the best place to promote adult niche, try Facebook as it might to convert much better for you.

Pinterest would be a very BAD place to promote that, IMO. There are hardly any men on Pinterest.

Last statistics said it's about 14% males. Total users are 100 million, so that would bring it to 14 million males. If you target sex boards (there are quite a lot) you might be able to find something there.

Good point. You *zag* while everyone *zig* and make a name for yourself. I recall receiving a private message on one of my accounts getting an invite to post to a private board with nsfw content. Not sure how that's accomplished, but you can approach things that way.

Private boards can have pure porn, public ones can't (pinterest policies). But there are a lot of examples like this: https://www.pinterest.com/kyleburgoyne/babes/ - not porn but will probably attract the same market. Would be fun to hear the results of anyone trying this.
