eBay and working from home

Recently cleared out my garage and have been thinking of things I could use it for to make some money. First thing that jumped into my head was buying & selling on sites such as eBay.
Have never really kept up with the eBay/Drop shipping game so I'm clueless when it comes to it so I'm seeking some help. What's the current situation like? Obviously there is still money to be made
but is that only if you're buying thousands of items or can someone like myself break into the scene by buying tens of items and gradually expanding over a period of time?

I understand that like most things IM related research is key. Take the items cost, throw in eBay fee's & postage to work profit margins and go from there.

Would love to hear some advice/tips/tricks or anything else that will help me to make up my mind.

Still money to be made, buy you have to avoid getting into battles with hordes of Chinese drop shippers who can make a living making 25 cents a sale and getting into niches where 800 people are trying to sell the exact same thing. Expect to invest a little in the beginning, and don't expect to make big bucks right away, but it's still possible to get in.

Tom banks harder than me on eBay but I still strongly disagree. Assuming you have the right information, you can easily scale eBay into a 10k/month business through drop shipping. The most important part of the process is building within your means until you get your paypal holds off- at that point you can open multiple accounts, each at a 500 item selling limit, all with no PP holds, and go to town

Additionally, I recommend against using Pricematik (No offense Pm). There are more powerful tools out there that completely automate the process

Dude, if your system works, I strongly suggest that you keep it to yourself and run it yourself and make money off it, rather than selling it. Because once you have 8000 people running the same system, no one will actually make money off it. If I had such a system, you would have to repeatedly stab my balls with a rusty fork before I divulge my system.

We don't think that this system can get saturated. There are too many items on eBay/Amazon for it to ever get competitive

We're also big enough at this point that nobody can compete with our PM's. You're more than welcome to a review copy (for shits and gigs. God knows you don't need it)

But you'll be chasing smaller and smaller profits as more players get into it. Having more users make the market more efficient and you make profits by taking advantage of market inefficiency. But YMMV, I guess.

You basically eat the returned item and list it again. This time try to wrap it up in your own packaging and check for defects.

It's actually really simple, if you are using Amazon that is. You simply go into your amazon prime account and go to your orders:

Click on Return or replace items for the item you want to have returned then follow the simple instructions.

You will also need to contact the buyer with the information and mention the amount of time it will take to process
the refund (usually 2-3 days) so they don't get angry with you. It's always great to stay in touch with the buyers.

Depending on the carrier Amazon usually sends UPS to pick up the package to return it. They only have to print out a free label
to put into the package and the carrier will take care of the rest.

Retail arbitrage if you don't mind a little work...go to goodwill for brand name items, sell on eBay or clearance section in wal mart kmart and FBA them...pm me if you want more advice

Just wait until Feb. 20 because it (ebay) will be more lenient with returns, and feedback.

i always find it funny when I read posts from negative people who says market is saturated in an area where I know dozens of people making hundreds and thousands a day.....dude go for it put in the time network a little bit with the positive folk and live the dream ive been doing it for 5 years
